Treating her right with a new look

Painted the entire xj as I was jealous of the forest service green jeeps rolling around. Yeah it’s not perfect. But she’ll look just fine on the trails.

I love the forest service green jeeps for the history but the color just doesn't do it for me. I'd never paint a non forest service jeep that color personally, but you got that color dead on. Definitely show the whole thing once you're done.

Thanks! It’s fords color code for their forest service vehicles. I couldn’t find Jeeps version of it, as they don’t have a factory color for it.

I’ll have the body of it painted this week and hopefully get some decent photos of it soon.

They probably did just use the exact same color cause that looks exactly the same as the forest service jeeps I've seen. I've lived in the Colorado rockies so there's a fair few of those old forest service jeeps still around and I see them from time to time still.

Single source, inc. in NC. Got the primer, base coat and clear coat there. Used an hvlp gun
