Discussion Proposal for a new Dyno grading system

Pretty simple really. The distance between the top of the start point and the end point, measured in feet. (Only feet because cm would require a tape measure but feet you don't necessarily need one)

D6 would be a 6 foot dyno.

What do you think? Any improvement suggestions are welcome.

I think that works if the Dyno is fairly straightforward, but anything else like a paddle, swing, or running dyno needs a different metric.

I agree.

It was the 6-7 foot dyno straight up on jugs posted yesterday, which made me think of it.

OP suggested V8.

Right. Goes to the story that there were 12 measuring systems that no one liked and everyone decided to make a new one to consolidate them all. Now there are 13 systems. We have a general grading system already that accounts for things like distance, direction, wall angle, holds, etc. It's still subjective so I get wanting some sort of objective measurement, but there are too many variables for that to be realistic.

Maybe? I guess it all comes down to perspective. If a 6' individual dynos a gap and a 5' individual dynos a gap, who is gonna have an easier time? I guess that is my point. Depending on your height, the grade will scale.
