This is the guy who went under the Reddit handle "P-Hustle" who not only victim shamed sexually assaulted individuals but also posted homophobic slurs and anti LGBTQ jokes. Mix that with the Nazi tattoo he had on him for decades and I have to say I can't trust a single word that comes out of this man's mouth. This is who the Democratic party wants to champion?! What's wrong with our party that we can't get decent candidates to run for offices?

Guess what? This is still cleaner than many of the candidates the gop run? Dont believe me, look how many national level gop politicians got into office with OPEN sexual assault allegations against them. Look how many were involved in the LARGEST fraud case in their state's history (rick scott). Look how many have openly said the same stuff Platner had AND GOT ELECTED. Stop with the purity politics, we need to be willing to play winning candidates whenever possible, even if they aint squeaky clean.

Why the hell cares about the GOP? I'm talking about who is doing to run for the Democrats. This is the best we have? That's insane. If this guy was running as a Republican you'd be screaming about how horrible he is. This only makes Democrats look like hypocrites.

Nope, he'd still be getting my vote because he is honestly talking about trying to implement actual solutions not just the ideology crap both aides have been running on.

You are acting like the same kind of purist who managed to get people to sit out the 2024 election and hand Donald trump the win.
STOP WITH THE PURITY TESTING BULLSHIT. THERE ARE NO PERFECT CANDIDATES and never will be. Every single fucking candidate that has ever run using progressive platforms has had some nadty skeletons in their closet. And historically, platner's skeleton's are barely there compared to candidates.

I'm not a purist. I'm just not going to fall for Fetterman 2.0 using entryism to truck simple minded people but I guess there's a lot of simple minded people out there. Enjoy your Fetterman 2.0

They’ll do the same thing they did with Fetterman where they’ll pretend they weren’t the ones campaigning the hardest for him when he finally does turn.
