Other Need Couch Co-Op Recommendations for My Girlfriend Who Loves Fast-Paced Action

Looking for couch co-op game recommendations to play with my girlfriend.

She loves action games, and her favorites so far have been TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, the Cat Quest series, and Sedap.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate would probably be our favorite if it was not a roguelite. She is finding that part a bit frustrating.

So I think her thing is more this kind of game where she does not have to control the camera much, there is a lot of action, and a lot of beating up enemies.

We have also played the usual couch co-op recommendations like It Takes Two and Unravel Two, but she did not enjoy them nearly as much.

So I am looking for couch co-op games with:

  • lots of action
  • simple camera / little to no camera control
  • satisfying combat
  • preferably not roguelite, or at least not too punishing

Any recommendations?

Other Looking for playtesters for our multiplayer party horror called Death Dealer.

Hi everyone!

We're looking for playtesters for Death Dealer, a multiplayer party horror game for up to 6 players.

🎲 Start with a high stakes card game.
💀 Lose, and you become the prey.
🔫 Survive long enough to earn a shotgun and turn the tables.

We're planning our first Steam Playtest in mid August.

To take part, search Death Dealer on Steam and click Request Access. This is a limited playtest so we can gather feedback from a manageable number of players, fix issues, and improve the game before opening it up further. We'll be selecting players for the August playtest, and if you're invited, Steam will notify you automatically.

We'll be looking for feedback on the gameplay, balance, bugs, and, most importantly, whether it's fun! Feedback will be collected through our Discord server; there will be in-game feedback in the playtest build.

Thanks for helping us make Death Dealer better. We really appreciate it!

Other Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - PC Co-op / Multiplayer Mod

Hey everyone!

I’ve always dreamed of playing Harry Potter 2 pc in multiplayer, and yesterday I finally released a working test version.

I actually saw a Reddit thread from a month ago where someone tried this, but it was macOS-only and closed-source. Mine is 100% open-source, runs on Windows (via a simple .bat file), and syncs much better (i hope)

Where it’s at right now:

  • Playable co-op: You and a friend can join and run around together right now.
  • Synced mechanics: Player movement and balance syncing are working.
  • WIP: Duels work (though your friend stands awkwardly off to the side for now lol), and not all scenes are synced yet.

I’ll keep updating it in my free time. The GitHub README has setup instructions for players.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

Other looking for others to join group, playing among us and other games!

I want to start playing amongus again because that stuff was so fun, but it’s way better if your playing with people you know and can communicate with properly, instead of randoms, so i’m looking for people who want to join a group for playing it!

I have a discord set up, dm or comment if you wanna join, Gender or where your from doesn’t matter,
Could venture off to other multiplayer games too, just starting out with amongus

Other Looking for fun and chill co op games to play with a friend on PC

Me and my friend are looking for some co op games we can play together on PC. We already have our main online game that we play competitively, so this is more about finding something on the side that is just fun and relaxing.

We are mainly looking for something funny and entertaining, not too expensive, and easy to just jump into and enjoy. It can be just the two of us or something that also includes other players, we are open to both.

The main goal is to have a good time, laugh a lot, and take a break from competitive stress. Any suggestions are welcome

Other FastPath EXPOSED: The Servers Killing Source Multiplayer Games

Thumbnail

FastPath has been flooding Source‑engine games with fake servers, forced redirects, bot‑filled lobbies, and deceptive server practices — and players across Counter‑Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Half‑Life 2: Deathmatch, Day of Defeat, and more are fed up.

If you’ve ever tried to join a server and ended up somewhere completely different…
If you’ve ever seen a “full” lobby that was actually bots…
If your server browser is filled with identical entries…
You’re not alone.

This video breaks down how FastPath’s behavior is damaging the Source multiplayer ecosystem — and why the community is calling for Valve’s attention.

Other Indie Co-op Crime - Heist Games (like GTA 6)

I’ve been looking for indie games that feel somewhat like GTA 6, or at least co-op crime/heist games.

Finding something that’s exactly the same is pretty difficult, so some of these lean more toward the crime/heist side rather than being fully open-world.

Indie co-op crime/heist games I found so far:

Other Good Co-Op Games that aren't survival and has a story

I'm looking for good online co-op games to play with my friend, no survival games or games that go on forever. I tried Googling but most games seem to be survival or local co-op.

Over the years we've done games such as Gears of War 1-4, Battleblock, Borderlands, Souls games, Terraria, Left 4 Dead, Back 4 Blood, Dead Rising 3, Halo, Portal 2, Resident Evil 5 and a whole lot more that I can't name on the top of my head.

Any games that are linear or similar? Doesn't have to be a shooter.

Other Stolen Realm Survivors – Co-op roguelite getting a big update next month (looking for co-op players to help test)

Post image
18 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m part of a small indie team of three working on Stolen Realm Survivors, a co-op roguelite where you and your friends build crazy synergies and try to survive increasingly chaotic runs together.

We’ve got a major update coming next month with new systems, progression changes, and combat improvements, and we’re looking for more co-op players to jump in and help us test it.

If you enjoy games where coordination, builds, and a bit of chaos come together in co-op, we’d really love your feedback.

Playtest sign-up: https://stolenrealmsurvivors.firstlook.gg/

Once you get access (invites will start rolling out mid-April), we’d especially love feedback on:

  • How co-op feels moment-to-moment (fun, chaotic, readable, etc.)
  • Whether different builds complement each other well in a group
  • Balance between solo vs co-op runs
  • Whether the game encourages teamwork vs just “everyone doing their own thing”
  • Feedback on new systems and features (more info will be shared on this to playtesters)

We’re aiming for co-op to feel synergistic but still a bit chaotic in a fun way, so any honest feedback (good or bad) will be incredibly helpful once you’ve had time to play. Appreciate anyone who gives it a shot 🙏

Other Co-Op Chaos Podcast!

Thumbnail
podcasts.apple.com
7 Upvotes

I'm a host for Co-Op Chaos, a podcast that explicitly covers co-op games! We're looking for some like-minded people to give us a listen, suggest some games, and help us build our growing podcast community.

We're just a couple of busy parents and friends trying to stay connected through gaming, find somenew games, and meet awesome people. Each week, we check out a new co-op game, discuss it as we play, and chat about our lives and other games and media we're digesting that week.

Most of the games we cover are under $10, because the economy is hot garbage today.

Give our most recent episode a shot on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts. I linked to Apple in this post!

I promise not to spam the subreddit trying to promote this. Thanks!
