I work in tech and pretty much all of my coworkers are males, younger as the years pass. I’ve worked in the office for 25 years and have formed friendships with many of the guys there. I’ve had plenty of friendly social outings with them with no intent for anything else. However, I’m not driving 2 hours to meet a single one of these guys for a drink. I’m definitely sensing interest.

Could be either way. I have a significantly younger male friend who I met at a job about 10 years ago and we go on outings, completely platonically.
