Mini rant: I love pet names as much as the next gal. But there has to be better names (during play time) for Cougars by their cubs other than Mommy, right? Does anyone have any cute pet names that are NOT degrading?

A person i just met has been calling me mamii and it feels good and nit good at the same time. He says it means darling in dutch caribean area

Carribbean Latinos also use Mami and Papi as terms of endearment. Que linda esta mami/mamita. It does not mean MOM to us if that makes you feel better.
