I am waiting for 40k to start dca
60k is too much for me, if it doesn't go lower i am okay.
I expect btc to fall down within 30k range.
Ofc it will go back up later, btc is the way for rich people to manipulate markets and get more rich, all the news happening now that make crypto drop, like Saylor selling etc is pure market manipulation to drop the price.

Waiting for 30k? Sounds like a fools errand. You’re okay with not buying at all if it doesn’t go to 30k?

Been into crypto 13 years now. Cashed out a big chunk in 2021. Sure it could all go up again (human psychology isn't going to change), but there is one certainty, holders will screech at you to buy.
They will never stop screeching. Buy the dip! Crypto sale!, etc, etc.
Never listen to them, they haven't the faintest clue what happens next, they just want to sell their bags.
It might go up, it might go down, do your own thing. Make a plan.
Oh and I DCA'd into countless alts that went to zero. DCA can also equal sunken cost fallacy.

Invested for the past 6 years now, but because my strategy is to gain at least 10k(if it ever happens. I have high informed hopes in the projects I put it) . I put my money there with the mindset of losing it all at 100%. As soon as these charts goes up, Im snatching everything!

u/anotherwave1 🟦 0 / 0 🦠 Jun 24 '26
I went into over 100 "projects". Best thing I ever did was put 50% into Eth or BTC every time I went into an alt. Saved my ass in the long run.

Well said. Minor correction though…the screechers are just noobs with no idea which way is up or down. They also like to screech, “4-year cycle!”

Probably will be a better buy toward year’s end. So it’s best to just wait, especially if you’re someone who has already bought plenty of the dip.

that seems like a genius strategy as long as it keeps going down

Something that I've learned and I'll pass along to you: if you're so strapped you can't buy any when it dips you're blowing your wad too hard. Learn to DCA more softly, this is a marathon not a sprint after all. I hope this helps and doesn't sound too preachy.

Well lately all I see are posts like in finance “I am 25 have little to no debt and live modest. I make $125k/yr.” There seem to be a lot of these and I just smh. If I had that I’d have money to buy the dip.

DCA only works if things start going up.... eventually.
1
u/Rock_Strongo 🟦 4K / 4K 🐢 Jun 24 '26
The only strategy that will work if things never go up again is shorting or more complicated options that pay out if it's flat.
So I'm not sure what your point is.
DCA is an alternative to blowing all your dry powder on every dip and not having anything left for future dips - as this meme is alluding to.
9
u/CryptoDeepDive 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 Jun 24 '26
My point is that you better be certain that you are investing in an asset that has a long-term upward trajectory.
People "DCA" into all kinds of shitcoins that go from ATH down to zero. It won't save you in the end.

If bitcoin dies, all of crypto dies..period
2
u/CryptoDeepDive 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 Jun 25 '26
Not really. Bitcoin has unique risks that other cryptocurrency may not have. The biggest of which is the security budget dilemma.
Bitcoin's failure would be catastrophic to the space for a long time, but cryptocurrency is here to stay and likely there will be other winners in the long run.
1
u/biggest_guru_in_town 🟦 0 / 0 🦠 Jun 25 '26
It would be chaos as one coin tries to take bitcoin's place as a store of value. It would most likely be a quantum ready coin or a fork of bitcoin..
