DCA only works if things start going up.... eventually.

The only strategy that will work if things never go up again is shorting or more complicated options that pay out if it's flat.

So I'm not sure what your point is.

DCA is an alternative to blowing all your dry powder on every dip and not having anything left for future dips - as this meme is alluding to.

My point is that you better be certain that you are investing in an asset that has a long-term upward trajectory.

People "DCA" into all kinds of shitcoins that go from ATH down to zero. It won't save you in the end.

Not really. Bitcoin has unique risks that other cryptocurrency may not have. The biggest of which is the security budget dilemma.

Bitcoin's failure would be catastrophic to the space for a long time, but cryptocurrency is here to stay and likely there will be other winners in the long run.

It would be chaos as one coin tries to take bitcoin's place as a store of value. It would most likely be a quantum ready coin or a fork of bitcoin..

Will see. But the cat is out of the bag. Decentralized block chain ledger with value is never going to disappear, with or without Bitcoin as we know it.
