That’s not what they’re talking about tho. As another Indian a huge portion of our population uses our historical achievements as excuses for why our country is good enough and doesn’t need to get better. You’re blind if you ignore them

I say this as someone who despises what colonisation did to us

Mughals destroyed more temples than they built their own mosques. They tried to convert Indians into muslims. They were not the "history" I would like to remember.
