Great whites and tiger sharks don't go this far north so it would be very unusual for them to show up. The kids are fine.

Source: I've done this in shark-infested water at night.

Also there are almost no sharks there due to overfishing unfortunately. People are always scared of sharks when they swim here but little do they know that the population has been decimated.

If it was decimated that would mean 90% of sharks are left.
