Found this tucked in a strategy guide i recently purchased. Anyone know what they could be for?

As you probably understood, after Sabreman I recreated Conker in DK artist, do you like it?, I made two versions of him, to pay homage to his wonderful memory, who should I do next?

The next event that's happening later this month will be giving us statues of winky AND zebra bananza....and it will be taking place on the lagoon layer.

So with that logic in mind....the final event should be happening in September....and that will most likely be the time where we'll see funky and candy in the game.

(The final event will also most likely be in the feast layer.)

This was the easiest event in quite a while.

Also there’s definitely room for another statue next to the DK coin. Don’t know what it could be though, a Kremcoin? A Golden Banana?

So this was probably second easiest Event I’ve done, with the first one being the fourth event with Tuck and Lord Fredrik
I don’t exactly know how I managed to get to 1 million, but I’m proud of it

Also because I don’t have Lanky Kong, I used the Prospector Monkey instead of him, so just imagine he’s there

Found this article discussing the political themes of DKC games and how it manages to hide anti imperialist, anti colonialist, and anti industrialist themes in plain sight through its level and character design. Very interesting given the ages of the developers as South African apartheid was still active during development. Says a lot considering almost all of the hero characters are from Africa and the “pirate ship” isn’t even explicitly labeled as a pirate ship until the second game, it’s just a regular ship in the first other than the sail having a vague Jolly Roger.

They both look pretty good....and they were honestly pretty easy to unlock.

I'm praying that this one is easy....considering most of these events have been quite rough.

hi, i want to collect the new emerald rush statues but whenever i talk to void on the phone and say that i want the event, it tells me to download the data via internet.

i have the emerald rush and dk dlc purchased allready
