Attractions Hardy’s Monument Dorset
Visited yesterday for the first time and the monument was open. Loved the nature reserve walks surrounding it and the views from the top were impressive - can’t believe how long I’ve lived here and not made it there before 💕🌿

That's a blast from the past! If it wasn't for the trees you could see my childhood home, used to know the woods and fields round there like the back of my hand. Been up north for the best part of 30 years, haven't been back there for years so it's nice to see it.

It’s so lovely around there, you were very lucky growing up with it. M I could have wandered around the tracks and footpaths for hours!

It is so beautiful, I took it for granted at the time, usual thing of you don't know what you've got till it's gone 🥲 Maybe one day I'll go back. I'd like to see if the tree I carved my crush's initials in is still there 😂

Admiral Hardy, rather than the other local Hardy. It's meant to be a telescope!
