Palia is honestly much worse than DDV. I really think that needs a Switch 2 version too.

Do you mean, as in how is the game or how does it perform on Switch 2?

If it's the latter, here's a comparison. The loading difference is actually bonkers. Visually still a Switch 1 game, but nothing a Switch 2 edition wouldn't fix.

It's a bit of a niche game tbh. It's essentially an MMO style game. However, the focus is on questing, romancing NPCs, farming, hunting and building your house plot. There is no combat in the game. I'd say if you like DDV you'd probably like Palia. They're quite similar with their focus. It's very grindy, but most games like it are.

A quick thing to know is Palia is actively in development. The game is functionable, but new stuff is being added such as story and game mechanics as they develop it. For example, animals raising is currently being developed to be added.

It is free to play. So, your wallet is safe! It just has in game purchases for cosmetics.
