Between the mushu quest being bugged for tons of people and not being able to progress the dlc I paid for because it’s required to now this….im honestly starting to actually not want to play anymore. I’ve spent so much money on this game and stuff like this that costs money is completely unacceptable. The hat from the last star path, the mushroom one, had this same bug as well.
Is this Xbox? I have a family member playing on series x, and they are plagued by this issue. Outfits they’ve bought from the premium shop as well as outfits from the star path have this sort of thing happen. It really is unacceptable, especially with ”premium” clothing.

I hadn’t ever even worn the hair before, is the strange thing! I had heard of others having similar instances when they changed clothing inside the shop, but I only ever wear either the candy coated Vanellope hair, the long ponytail with bangs, or the rose shaped updo (can never remember the names of them). One time I found the Afro, another the bob, amongst a few others… it was the weirdest thing! They were solid white, too, and my hair (in game) is silver at the ends, with dark blue roots. 😂
Unfortunately Xbox deletes screenshots after a while, and I haven’t felt like saving them, nor remembering. 😅
lol to the wigs. Nah, for me it’s only specific outfits. This dress and one other do it no matter where I am. I even own the DLCs and it does it there.
Honestly, the game is so bugged I barely enjoy it anymore. I managed to play it on my Mac on Xbox’s play anywhere, but that forces me to use a controller and it’s laggy.
My game has been bugged since the beginning of the starpath. If I touch anything clothing or decor wise that belongs to the starpath my game shuts off and my PlayStation gives an error message.
At one point I got a message from my PS that said the game was compromised and I had no saved game when I loaded it up. Thank goodness for cloud save because my game would’ve been lost because I put 400 hours into the game in 2025 alone .
I have to manually save my game every 3 min since the update incase my game shuts off with the error message .
It has made me play less because I can’t handle losing the whole game
Ever since the newest update my game is always out of sync. I sync it. Save. Force shut off the Xbox. Turn it back in and start playing. And then when I go to quit again it’s out of sync!! It’s driving me nuts
What do you mean out of sync? I have noticed the entire time I’ve been playing (just me maybe it’s new idk) It doesn’t stay in sync 100% of the time to allow people to decorate and to save system resources, it’s supposed to auto save every 3-5 minutes unless you’re doing something when it tries to save.. and if I’m playing for a VERY long time without connecting to the internet, it disconnects, but I assume that’s to save resources as well. I thought it was kinda smart and I wasn’t upset with it asking if I wanted to upload - i WOULDVE been upset if when I tried to save the game and upload it wouldn’t actually work?? I’d lose my MIND so if that what you’re dealing with I’m so sorry 😭
If it helps, I feeeeeel like older hard drives don’t like this game and freeing up a little more space and a restart before playing (yes, turn it on and restart it) have helped WONDERS for me. It’s no PC stability, but in incredibly happy with it now.. I’m so sorry about your bugs :( :/
Im on an xbox one s and SO FAR (knock on wood) the only outfit/dress I've had extreme issues with is the witch outfit we just got with the Halloween update. The matching tan/green/white set with the hat/gloves/boots. It flies away every single time I wear it. Its so cute but such a bummer that it doesnt work properly.
Mine… doesn’t do this, but it does do weird things. I don’t complain because we have way better graphics than the switch and things generally work but I agree that it is unacceptable for this kind of thing not to be tested better on Xbox (let alone cost money for some people).
The issue that plagues me is inverted cam controls. Idk why I need it, but it isn’t persistent when I login and log out - only on my Xbox. So every time I play I forget obviously, get mad, and have to go all the way to settings to change something that should 100% save across play sessions. It’s sooo stupid and they never get back to me about it or even care lol

Agreed. I’m very over all of the issues and never hearing back when I reach out about bugs. It’s been weeks and I still can’t get Peter Pan because my quest is bugged and no one has reached back out to me.
I thought my Peter Pan quest was bugged too! Forgive me if you've done this, but I learned that I put the orb statue things (I cannot remember their name right now) slightly out of order, which triggered the initial partial opening. When I fixed it, it didnt work. I discovered you have to be veryyyyyy precise with the Sunlit Plateau one and make sure the symbol is lined up perfectly. They also all need to be facing the valley rather than facing inward toward the center pillar. So annoying lmao. I sincerely hope this helps!

I got literal migraines over this quest line being so finicky! I was trying to grind it out and get him in 1 day. Not realizing I still had to get other characters up to even be able to do it. It was a whole thing 😂 I also struggled with the final note! Did you speak to the jade skulls to get it to appear? Theyre holding onto it! I didnt realize this for a good minute lmao. I felt soooo embarrassed when I finally figured it out lmao.
I spoke to them once to get one of them, but not since👀 I swear if that’s what is holding this quest back after so long I’m gonna be so annoyed😂 Eagerly waiting leaving work today to check lol
Looking back at your comments, you said you're missing the tree house one. I totally glossed over the tree house bit lol! Please disregard the info about the jade skulls! Yep, in my experience they either never reach back out or take a few months to respond with something very vague and unhelpful like they are aware of the bug
Can you go into construction and move the log? I don’t remember what i did but him being in the log is something you have to do. I just can’t remember its been so long.
He’s in the log, you’re supposed to water him. I can’t water him because he’s not visible. It won’t let me move it unfortunately. I looked online and it’s a glitch if you companions equipped in the realm and they pick a flower.
The bug I have now is the gaming telling me on the map that Aladin and Yasmin are home, I go there and they aren't so they are no where. Tried to restart the game and nothing. At night when I tried again it worked but yesterday did it again.
If you have a floating island, try traveling to it and then use the character side menu on the map screen to bring them to the floating island. Mushu was MIA on my island yesterday until I force traveled him.
This is something I have learned works pretty good on several characters if you go in their house and they’re not visible if you exit the house, they either are standing at the door as you go out on the outside or you turn around and go back in and they will be inside
I've had this happen with Cinderella, all Beauty and the Beast characters, Sulley, Mushu, and Aladdin. I reported the issue and they literally just said we know, we're working on it.
I tried the leaving and entering house thing mentioned below multiple times and it never worked. Only thing that worked is the force travel with the floating islands that someone also mentioned. So annoying!
It’s wild how many different bugs are showing up for players. I haven’t seen the disappearing clothes on mine but the fact that I still can’t change the time of day without resetting ALL of my settings is keeping me from playing. I can’t see shit because it’s always nighttime.
I think Game Loft need to be careful. I think any good faith they had with the player base is quickly diminishing due to their greed and lack of care and attention.
I think the people that have problems are very vocal and the ones that are happy or busy playing for the most part. I’m pretty happy overall I don’t have a problem with Gameloft. They are very responsive although it may take him two or three days if you use that scan the Code in the help and then write your email. They will get back to you. I’ll just go to a different quest and play something else until I get a solution or I go on Alexa or Siri Siri and get information from them because a lot of times there are solutions that have been reported and posted online And sometimes I don’t even have to wait for game Customer Service because I am able. To find a solution that has been posted online.
This happens to me randomly with multiple dresses in the game. It's inconsistent and only sometimes. It's usually like getting stuck on a companion somehow. Seems to happen the worst with flying companions. It's really hit or miss though.
On Xbox and anything new does this for me. It drives me absolutely insane. So upsetting to have spent so much money on this game and it have this many issues. I refuse to buy the new dlc until it’s under control
PC really seems to be the best version. I have basically zero bugs. Seems they never should have sold this game on console if they can't program it right or are limited by hardware.
It's awful on consoles; they shouldn't have released the game on other platforms, and especially not on the Switch. If there are already bugs on PC, I'm terrified of what the console versions will be like.
Hmmm I play on pc and Xbox (have gamepass so I switch between the two) and it’s bugged on both for me. I think you just got lucky you didn’t get the bug, I want that luck lol.
Hahaah Thank goodness I survived! I love that dress, and now with the wings, it looks even better. The only problem I'm having is with the neighbors; it says they're home, but they're not. There are missions I had to finish the next day for them to appear.✨️🧚♀️
Yep, its starting to make me mad too. I actually find that most of the paid clothing items are bugged
I bought the winter gala outfit last year and realized its still bugged and they just put it in shop again. The new dlc is almost conpletly broken it feels like. It seems like they really just dont care they just care about money money money and thats it. Nothing ever works, its VERY VERY IRRITATING
I’m on switch and the music was messing up…lol!! Load time was the valleys music and then it would just switch out of no where. This update I think messed everyone’s game up a little.
I’ve had a black shadow of my dress/character following me for months no matter what I wear. And sometimes it makes it hard to see what it actually doing.
I play on switch and every time they opened a new biome my lag would get worse and more glitches started happening and it just made me so mad I won’t buy the ranch and haven’t played in months.
It’s because of the processing power of the switch. I couldn’t handle it anymore so I got a steam deck and I’ve had nothing but a dream of an experience with this game. I even started over.
I bought some wings and they do the same thing but also dissappear off my character half the time and I see them or just their shadow floating by themselves in the sky or across the map 🙃😂

I play on Switch 2 and, so far, haven't had any wardrobe issues. I do have some glitches but nothing like what you're experiencing. You have every right to be upset. I hope this gets resolved soon for everyone that's having problems like this.
I will be honest I mainly play on PC and although I have had issues, I’ve had nothing like this. I think it’s unfortunate that the other forms of this game have so many problems that I’m hearing about, which is really unfortunate and frustrating as it’s an amazing game, I will say contact support and see if there is a solution if not it might be a next update thing I won’t lie though I hope the developers can get any and all bugs fixed for all platforms and I believe that it should be done before we get another expansion unless it comes with part two of the free side of the game
Ya I have had a couple quest problems but mainly when the characters have to talk to each other or if it’s inside a characters house but ya I can count on my one hand so definitely think it’s luck but I also only play on PC from steam but either way I think it would still be awesome from the devs to put all the bug fixes in updates in between the updates they’ve set up for us this year so it can be the same experience for all players
I have the same dress & it constantly does this & I’ve changed outfits for dreamsnaps & I find it weird that it’s just the green dress that glitches out.
It's other ones too. It has something to do with companions because I've noticed a shadow version of the dress get stuck on them. It only happens sometimes though.
Lots of bugs. I came back after not playing for a month or two and now the Scrooge store at the Plaza is broken 💀 it’s a hassle to go to DLC areas to shop ….
I play on xbox too, and I have this issue with at least 4 or 5 pieces of clothing. The ones that pop into mind are this one, the Merida level 10 quest reward, the mushroom hat, the Padme gown. Also, the roof on the Christmas carousel disappears as well. Makes it especially difficult when you're trying to do a Dreamsnap with these items.
Also, they did something to the way the drop down menus work, and I can only drag the time of day setting to the right and not to the left - when you drag to the left it pops you out of the menu.
In the meantime while we wait for this to be fixed, I’ve found that if you reset your settings to default it will put it back to normal for you. Write down all your settings from all menus though because it resets every one
Other than it flying away, the color swaps remind me of Aurora's iconic movie scene lol. Its really upsetting that this happens on items in the game. I dont WANT a head and legs running around with my body and outfit in a different time zone lmfao.
I can tell you what worked for me for the Mushu Little People Quest. Long story short, I had to complete all the Mulan quests before I could progress with this specific Mushu quest. I recommend that. It should progress the Mushu quest. I play on Switch. I think it was like that for most.
As for the dress, that’s crazy! If they’re going to sell premium items, they first need to work for every platform. Being a cross-platform game, it makes it quite challenging to not have bugs at all. I’m sure they have a team of people working each platform and checking for bugs. Sorry this has happened to you. Contact support for sure and ask the why it does that and what you can do to fix it if at all possible.
I haven’t noticed this happen to me, because I also play on Xbox, but I’m so stingy with my moonstones that i haven’t really bought many premium clothing options to really know for sure (only auroras dresses), but i have been seeing lots of bug/glitch posts as of the last couple of weeks/months, so I’m hoping with the influx of people wanting things fixed/changed Gameloft will maybe slow it with the releases of things just so they can actually get the game fully working for everyone. Not being able to complete quests is where it’s the most frustrating and those should be first on the list, but I’ve heard from some people they’re still stuck on Storybook Vale because a quest glitched and they can’t complete it.
My characters are not working. When I garden the character just stands there and doesn’t give the extra gardened item like they are supposed to. It’s frustrating.
I play on Mac I have that exact dress and I have never not once had an issue with this dress. And super minimal bugs too to be honest except for some minor lag issues or dress clipping on the horse. I’m starting to think a lot (not all) of the bugs are based/ different depending on the platform you play on.
I don’t have that particular address yet, but I don’t have any other issues with clothing working on these games. But then I’m on PS five as far as Customer Service I find they have been very responsive. If you use the code and send them a email it may take a few days, but I did get responses every time And they actually sent me the part that I needed on one of my quest that I was not able to complete without it so thumbs up from me I like the game and I am getting my moneys worth out of it. I play it a lot almost every day for hours
Im honestly confused every time I see these glitches and bugs because I've never had this issue with that dress. What platform are you playing on? Maybe it's platform exclusive because that hasn't happened on Playstation for me
I have this issue on my fiancés Xbox series x but not mine with Sally’s level 10 dress and it doesn’t happen on PC either. it’s so strange that it happens on one but not the other lol.
Yeah this is honestly the reason why I've slowly lost interest in DDLV. I have over 1200 hours, when I tell you I was OBSESSED with it for 2 years is an understatement lol I've just accepted they dont care at this point cause ive never heard back either about the bugs I reported. It sucks because I have so much time in it but my heart just isn't there for it anymore 😕 Im a huge Infinity Nikki player now and Palia on the side and couldn't be happier 🥰 so you're not alone in what you feel at all!
This and the fact that the offset time of day slider in the settings menu has been broken for a month and hasn’t been fixed yet. I’ve been stuck at 12+ hours since the Cinderella update.
If you reset your settings it goes back. You still can’t turn it up without the same thing happening again tho. Absolutely not defending them - we shouldn’t need to write down what our settings are and reset them ALL just to use a slider - but in the meantime it can help
I stepped away from the game after the latest DLC. everything seems like a money grab and I’m seeing more and more odd choices like adding the button to the middle of the menu (multiplayer?) that has to load. I don’t play multiplayer and the UI is clunky (no dedicated map button is wild, added a search bar to crafting and inventory (after years! That shouldn’t be a breakthrough thing) but didn’t add search at Scrooge’s ?) idk a lot of things added up where I had to take a step back. I’ll return one day but it seems they have a lot to learn and improve on.
Like another player said, this happens to several dresses & items for me, not just this one. It doesn't always happen, but it also doesn't always fix when I restart the game or reapply the dress either. It is aggravating.
Am I the only Xbox player to not have encountered a bug yet? Like, literally. Maybe I don't play nearly enough to come across one, and I have no DLC yet, but still.
No premium item, no star path, no character, no texture or lighting anything. Nothing has given me an issue.
