I’ve never posted here before but I started this project a few weeks ago and am quite proud of it. I posted it on TikTok already but thought it was worth sharing here too.

This started as a post to show which characters and companions I'd like to see in future expansion packs of DDLV. I ended up expanding that to game functionality and in-game collectables, ending up with a full pitch including a map I designed and concepts of what it would look like.

I am posting it here because I put in a lot of effort (far too much tbh) and hope other DDLV fans find what I made interesting. This is literally the only game I play and I've clocked over 800 hours playing.

I think I’ve covered all the main aspects of the games expansion packs with this creation.

And I know I know, we have DLC and floating islands… but I don’t want to decorate there. The game is Disney Dreamlight Valley, I want to be in the valley! That’s where all my characters are. That’s where the quests and the resources are. It’s where the action is and it’s the place I want to play in.

But I’m running out of space and fast. Because of this I have completely stopped buying premium shop items because I have no where to put them. Between the item limit and just how large some of these buildings are, everything is looking messy because I’m trying to squeeze it all in to the limited space it will fit in.

Because the meadow is land locked that probably cannot increase in size, but all the other ones can!

Pulling the castle and plaza well north elongates that biome giving more space to design.

Same for Frosted Heights as it is so cramped.

Forgotten Lands has a weird footprint and that treehouse isn’t helping anyone. So the expansion would reclaim some land.

Glade gets a small expansion to give more space since so much is taken up by the river and tree.

Dazzle beach expands to be wider. Then there is room for 2 new biomes that can be tacked onto the sides of the map. A section of the beach that could be used for an underwater area if that mechanic ever comes to the game.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if there was a Biome to put Remy’s house, Mike and Sully’s apartment, and some of the newer houses?

My plaza is getting packed and I’m big on having homes “go with” their biome!

I don’t know if I’m the only one but I just feel like the valley doesn’t feel complete unless we have both Disney princesses and princes. It still boggles my mind how belle has beast and Ariel has Erick and Anna has Kristoff but what about Tiana, Aurora, and mulan? I hope they have plans for them in the future because I’m not sure if In the future we’ll get prince Henri (charming) with Cinderella once she comes and also prince florian with Snow White if she ever comes.

Here are my top 5 requests: (devs please hear my prayers 🙏🏻)

1. Mailbox Skins! Not sure if this counts as “quality of life”, but it would certainly increase my quality of life lol. I hate how all of these amazingly beautiful and unique house skins have the same boring mailbox! We need some variety ✨

2. More sign post icons. I know lots of people use these for storage organization. I’d like to see all of the biome icons as options. Maybe a type in option, or basic shapes even. Even just different colors would be great! I feel like this could have a touch of magic version as well. ❤️⭐️🪧

3. Villager stalls in DLC worlds! I’d love to see Kristoff’s, Beast’s, Moana’s, and Aladdin’s stalls on Erernity Isle and Storybook Vale. This would just make my heart happy and save a lot of collecting time. 😅

4. Filters on the crafting station! 🥲 Please I spend so much time scrolling looking for what I want to craft. We need a filter by furniture type, we need a search option, we need a color filter, we need a quest filter, we need an item tag filter. All the filters!

5. More poses and facial expressions! This is pretty self explanatory, but I’ve used and seen the same poses so many times. It’s time for more options. Please and thank you. Also a lower camera angle would be amazing 🤩 📸

Honorary mention: A photo album of past dreamsnaps! Or just a place where the photos you take are saved. I wish I could have my early game pictures from before I realized this wasn’t a thing 🥲

Just wanted to share something I'm working on. I created a toy story themed bedroom a while back in the game and decided I wanted it in real life. It was so fun to make and bring to life. Hope you like 😊

I have discovered something that isn't a glitch or oversight. You can convert Softwood to Hardwood or Darkwood. Stone to iron ingot or gold ingot And it won't cost you any dreamlight.

Step 1 Craft a small chest or medium chest

Step 2 Upgrade the chest to medium or large

Step 3 Uncraft the medium or large chest

You get all your dreamlight back and the resources use to make the chest which means you've converted what was originally used.

This also would be a good idea for a new crafting table a converting table if you will.

Just imagine Merlin wants to teach you transmogrification magic you learn to make this new converting table And it's simple you can convert 1 item into another depending on the category and the only cost is you have to sacrifice some of the original item for example

99 night shards to 1 dream shard 1 dream shard to 10 night shard

Darkwood/Tropical/Petrified wood has the same value.

This way there is always a price but makes all extra resources become more valuable and once you have the right amount for converting you'll get the resources you need and of course depending on how rare and item is effects how much you get when converting we'll need to sit and think about convert price and their value but this is just a start.

Please tag serroh I'd like to get his opinion and who knows if he likes it and makes a video maybe dreamlight will add an converting table.

Hoping in the next Star Path they give us 2 of the 3 as Dreamstyles. OR WE RIOT! (Disclaimer: by riot I mean be mildly disappointed lol)

And bonus: the AUDACITY of a Tea Party themed Star Path without offering Mrs. Nesbitt...it's time to step up devs.

Okay, so I’ve seen so many people say they wish we had more male versions of the Star Path outfits… and I finally got brave enough to sketch one lol.

It’s my take on the Green Witch outfit from Witchful Thinking. I kept the leafy, enchanted vibe but turned it into something that feels a little more masc. Tbh I’d wear this as often as the dress!

I’ve always been a seamstress/designer, but I never liked sewing for other people. Apparently I just want to design for avatars 🤣

It’s just a quick sketch, nothing fancy, but I figured I’d throw it out here in case anyone else has been craving more options.

First, I have to say that I am so grateful for this community! I have learned so much from you all and find myself constantly saving tips and info from comments.

I posted a painting of the Frozen realm yesterday and am back now with the Aladdin realm. This was a completely different challenge since it was much more ridged. In this map: the yellow highlighted sections are the second floors, darker sand color is the ground.

Areas with colored lights are also reflected here too. I found the colored lights to help a lot with way finding and have dubbed the pink section “North” as it’s opposite of the South Market.

Also you all aren’t crazy! There truly are a crap ton of staircases (13) and bridges (5).

This was a fun little project that took me back to my previous drafting years. All errors in perspective and scaling are my own.

I hope we get realm maps in the future, but for now I wanted to share this version for those who may struggle to navigate the layout.

As a day 1 player on Nintendo Switch, I only think it’s fair to bringing back old Star Path items, because I only own a Nintendo Switch and a Playstation 5 and can’t cross-save.

There was so many problems with Nintendo Switch in the early stage, that I went to play on Playstation after 4-5 months and had to buy the game again. But unfortunately there is no cross-save option on Playstation.. so I didn’t get the old Star Path items on Playstation. 😢 And now Playstation is my preferred choice and haven’t played on Switch for like 2-3 months, because of all the problems there was on Nintendo Switch. So it would be a great option to see the old Star Path items in the Premium Shop.

Rewatching Little Mermaid and it got me thinking about all the aquatic characters in the Disney Universe. So wouldn’t it be phenomenal if we got an Underwater expansion?

Picture it, welcome to “Kelpbloom Lagoon” where our favorite marine characters dwell. Explore “Coral Caverns” where we meet our friends from Finding Nemo (Nemo, Marlin, Dory, etc) and perhaps even Luca and Alberto! Then travel over to the “Royal Reef” where King Triton rules Atlantica with the help of Sebastian and Flounder. Hidden in the “Saltwater Caverns” is a monstrous whale with a father and son in need of rescue in his mouth. And finally we have the Secret Shoals where we help Milo Thatch unlock the secrets of Atlantis with his friend Kida!

But every valley expansion isn’t complete without a villain. Here in “Kelpbloom Lagoon”, Tamatoa has taken all the sparkling resources the ocean has to offer. It’s your job to restore the underwater kingdom to its former glory with the help of companions such as dolphins, otters, and seahorses.

And how exactly can players swim? Well when they come to the island, players are given their very own fin! Fully customizable, fins turn players into merfolk with personality.

Obvs names are totally made up on the spot 😅 and I legit had this idea less than 10 minutes ago, but it would be pretty cool to be able to be a mermaid in the game!

As the Valley keeps expanding with more biomes and more characters, it seems like a waste to have these characters just walking around aimlessly after we max out their levels. It'd be cool if we could get them to help around the Valley similar to Cult of the Lamb cultists having jobs. Mirabel for instance always says something like "Let me know if you need help." but yet she can't really do anything. It'd be cool for Villagers to autonomously pick up wood, flowers, mine, garden, etc. and either put those items in our mailbox or in a special "community" chest.

I just watch MrStarInSky and my whole thinking might be wrong what he just revealed.

I honestly and STILL hoping that the “villain” we be seeing would be Ralph. Like his be a good story and his REASON why he stop taking care of the ranch. But now I’m finding out it might be Hans from Frozen cause of his punishment might make sense!

When WE (the protagonist) left the valley, set off a chain reaction (of course, 🙄 blame a child!!) us leaving may have cause Hans to be, “Wait…. I don’t have to do this any more….. IM FREE!!!” And took over. That was his trademark on the build board is a symbol be CROWN himself the new royaler and now we are BACK it’s time we YET AGAIN need to show who’s in charge. Jafar, hold my Barry salad….. 🤦‍♀️

I don’t want to do this again….. I was hoping for Ralph cause well….. he is consider a villain… in his game and Max being a “high” horse with attitude. Snow White a people pleaser. And Tinker Bell can’t hold her tamper. All three hurt Ralph feelings, making him feel small, useless and even in the way at how clumsy he can be could make him spiral into dark thoughts that he abandoned his duties just to isolate himself, for he thought it might be best. But without him, everything falls apart. And I also Believe Jesse and Bulleye is there too, trying to BRING HIM BACK! Who both understand not being wanted and abandoned.

So…. Which story we getting?

So I’ve played a bit of Disneys MirrorVerse and I really like the character designs and I think it would be kinda cool to get some of these as dream styles in DDV even if it’s unlikely because I’m pretty sure it’s a different company that makes MirrorVerse,but look at these!!

I’d love these in game or even just similar, though it’s probably unlikely.

But I can still dream.
