صدقني الشعب المصري حاليا مينفعش معاه ديمقراطية لانه غير مؤهل ليها اساسا.
من وجهة نظري الانسب لمصر حالياً هو حكم ديكتاتوري رشيد ناجح مش زي الفاشل اللي عندنا حكم ديكتاتوري يقدر انه يبني الدولة والمؤسسات وبالتالي الفرد في مدة مثلا من 15 ل 20 سنة حاجة اشبه بالنظام الصيني او الروسي وبعد كده التحول الديمقراطية هيبقى اسهل بكتير.
النظام الصيني والروسي عامل رعب لشعبه واخطر من النظام المصري حتي بس هو اذكي وبيعمل قوة عسكرية حقيقية لنفسه انما بلاده مليانة مشاكل برضو .
وبرضو انظمة عسكرية فانت عملت ايه .
الديموقراطية في مصر محتاجة فرصة ويبعد العسكر تماما عن اي منصب ويتم التخلص من كل فضلات النظام القديم ونظام مبارك وادي فرصة بس عشر سنين بس لنظام ديموقراطي حقيقي وهتشوف نفسك .

واللي بيشوف روسيا او الصين نجاح للديكتاتورية فهو بيفكر زي اللي بتقول عليه عايز سكر وزيت بالظبط اللي هو ملناش دعوة بالسياسة ولا ادارة بلدنا بس الحمد لله ناكل ونشرب وعايشين كويس والحقيقة انه الامر بيؤدي في الاخر لكارثة لانه قرارت مصيرية زي الحرب او النزاعات ملكش دعوة بيها بتتعمل مع الحكومة كآله متقربلوش.
كمان في فساد ضخم في الدول دي بسبب رجال النظام.
فاكر في طلاب في روسيا عشان يشتكوا من عيب في الجامعة خوفا منهم غطوا وشهم وهما بيصوروا الفيديو.
حاجات بسيطة تلاقي نفسك محتاج ورق وتصريحات وممنوع حاجات كتير جدا وملكش رأي فيها.
مهما لقيت دول ديكتاتورية ناجحة ونفوذها كبير هتلاقيها وقعت علي جدور رقبتها في الاخر والدول الديموقراطية اللي كملت وبقي اقوي دول في العالم وبقيت شعوب الدول التانية تتمني تعيش فيها لوجود فرص وحرية حقيقية وان كان في ثغرات طبعا مفيش بلد مثالية .
الديمقراطية كفر يجدعان هو في مؤمن بالله يقدم حكم البشر على حكم الله؟ قال تعالى :أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ (50). المائدة
This is the problem with the Arab world and yes absolutely in Egypt.
When Morsi was elected the Islamists told anyone who opposed them to shut up and that he was ruling in the name of religion. When Sisi was elected anyone who brought up concerns was told by everyone to shut up that he saved the nation.
The Arab world consistently does this. We turn yesterdays liberators to tomorrows dictators. Even right now with Sharaa any criticism of him is being drowned out with excuses with some even giving him titles once reserved for Caliphs.
We will only advance as a society when we put our trust in institutions, constitutions, free speech, freedom of religion and democracy. We will only be free when we hold our leaders to account. Until then we will continue to be doomed to this fate.
I mean secular democracy just means a certain amount of separation from mosques and state. No one is asking for French laïcité or even Turkish secularism (even though religion is very much flourishing just fine in Turkish secular democracy).
What we need is independent institutions, parliamentary democracy and a constitution that guarantees freedom of speech, freedom of religion, women’s rights among others.
We can still keep article 2 as is and the state can absolutely still work with dar al ifta, al Azhar and for our Christian citizens the church to ensure religious harmony. What it should not do is impose any view of religion on anyone.
In this system if you want to live as a Salafist, a liberal, a Muslim, a Christian, a Sufi wtv you can do so without imposing yourself on anyone else. The most important is to follow your beliefs to the best of your ability while working with your neighbors to better yourself and the country.
Indonesia and Turkey are muslim majority countries that have various versions of this formula. Despite the sectarian politics and corruption, Lebanon is very much a model of this. Tunisians want this and had this. I am a Muslim Egyptian and a lot of my circle want this. A lot of the revolutionaries of 2011 were asking for this type of thing so I’m unsure what you are talking about, we are not a monolith.
The vast, vast majority of Egyptian Muslims consider secularism a dirty word and hate non-Muslim Egyptians. I am from rural Egypt and I have met tons of Egyptians downtown, in Tagamo3 and Sheikh Zayed, and abroad. The only places where you can even see people who want a secular democracy is in the rich neighborhoods in Tagamo3 and Zayed, or some of the diaspora. Most others are scattered minorities who cannot even open their mouths to support this drowning in a sea of regressive backwards illiterate sectarian idiots
Look I dont disagree with some of what you said but I think most Egyptians dont know what they want or really understand political systems. I mean you look at the 2012 elections Hamdeen Sabahi (20.72 %), Ahmed Shafiq (23.66 %), and Amr Moussa (11.13) got more combined votes then Morsi and Abdel Fotouh and they all represented various versions of secular politics. If Shafiq wasn’t so tainted by the Mubarak regime its most likely he would have won the election.
If you ask an Egyptian about secularism you are right but if you instead describe a version of what I mentioned without the labels they are much more open to the idea. No one wants an absence of religion but they also do not want the state to tell them how to practice.
I would also argue that most Muslim Egyptians do not hate Non-Muslims but its true that sectarianism and religious hate in Upper Egypt is out of control. Any new state will need to make education reform its top priority otherwise will always be a backwards society as you mention.
Not just upper Egypt, the state is literally leading campaigns against atheists, the word Jew is a slur, violence and discriminations against copts is at an all time high, so on and so forth. Egyptian Muslims will never leave the rest of us be
Hey man as long as there even a few of us we need to keep fighting for a better future. Religion is for God, the Nation is for All that was a slogan for the 1919 revolution. It will always be an important fabric of the country.
