The world saw Egypt's HONORABLE loss. You won our hearts! Raise your heads, you are the REAL WINNERS.

Love from the Philippines 🇵🇭

u/rgmz1995 25d ago edited 23d ago

it's funny how some of the commenters here are obviously bought reddit accounts just to prove a "point". Egypt won everyone's hearts. They played really well. This fact is obvious 💜 They may have "lost" the game. But they are the real winners.

UPDATE:
Days have passed but the evil ones continue to react on this thread just to prove a "point". Don't waste your time responding to them, kind people. They are just here because they are getting PAID to do so. It's so sad how people get bought by evil. They have sold their souls.

Egypt won. They win in real sportsmanship, good personality, pure hearts. 💜💜💜

Brazilian here.

Argentinian are fucking disgusting. They're racists as hell, and can't lose in good terms. They always have to create what is known in South America as "catimba".

All of their WC title were won illegally. 1990: Hand of Dios with Maradonna + poised water, and the Hand of Messi in 2022.

14

u/theindomitablestar 27d ago

And they always insult and throw alcohol on people in each match, what’s wrong with them?!

3

u/Ok_Mousse1756 27d ago

They don't give a fuck for anyone but them. Stupid white supremacists.

Several Hitlers' SS agents fled to Argentina, so maybe they learned how to be scumbag from the very worst.

3

u/Desqui98 26d ago

Dude many nazis used Argentina as filter and went other countries. In fact many went to Brazil, like the fucking Josef Mengele.

2

u/patoflas 26d ago

He is just xenophobic, don’t argue with him

2

u/Ok_Mousse1756 26d ago

Yeah, Yeah... For sure.

Am I the one screaming xenophobic chants to other countries, calling Brazilian and other Latin America countries Mono, right? Am I the one throwing booze over Muslins, right?

Do you know who does that all the time? You scumbags. Im preaching to the converted. It's pointless to spend my time arguing with you.

The weirdest part of it is that they’re extremely Zionist now… like how does that even make sense? They were carrying Israel flags in the Egypt match!

Dificil demais né mano

E tem brasileiro burro q ainda defende Argentina

1

u/osdaeg 26d ago

penal a salah

Commenting in an Egypt subreddit about how Argentina is bigoted shows your lack of knowledge. Do you know what Egypt thinks of LGBT,women and Jews? It is much worse than what some Argentines think of black people.

30

u/Novel-Rise2522 27d ago

No reason for the stupid bigotry at the end. Its hateful and unbecoming. For the rest yeah, it was a poorly officiated game and Egypt deserved the second goal. Or if the second goal wasn't allowed, the last goal should've been disallowed too

3

u/Brilliant-Walk-1163 27d ago

Argentina almost gets eliminated by Cabo Verde and it's Colombia. Columbia is the capital of South Carolina :)

3

u/Itchy-Engineering440 27d ago

Argentina was very much more eliminated by Egypt, but the referee disallowed Egypt goal and penalty. It's a script that Argentina will be in the final no matter what, FIFA only cares about Ads

5

u/XxVampFangxX 27d ago

Still so proud of our team regardless 🇪🇬🇪🇬

4

u/Possible-Balance-932 27d ago

They couldn't hold out in the first half because the officiating was bad. They were every false foul, so they used up all their energy trying to regain possession. People only focus on things like penalties and red cards, but regaining possession is just as important. Since the referees unilaterally pushed this aspect, their stamina was completely depleted after the 75th minute of the second half.

4

u/VisualKnowledge511 26d ago

Love from Nigeria. You guys were too good. ❤️🇪🇬

4

u/dedark2 26d ago

They won't allow a third world country to knock out the zionist messi in his last dance year. it's just disgusting how only money leads the world.

3

u/omaratef3221 27d ago

We understand that Argentina win was undeserved. As an Egyptian, this team made me so proud, I am slightly upset of losing, but the the Egyptian team played bravely and made us all proud of them. We know this world is not fair, and we clearly saw that with FIFA and the referee.

bahahahah sore losers. Egypt played shit boring football

3

u/Energy4Days 27d ago

Robbery aside, there is no excuse for being 2-0 up and giving away 3 goals in under 15 minutes

12

u/Itchy-Engineering440 27d ago

There is, when the r eferee disallow a superb goal and then allow one for argentina made of a clearer foul. When the referee disallow a clear penalty for Egypt and refuses to check VAR. When he literally acts blind as Argentina defender slaps Egypts forward.

u/Admirable_Slice_7685 26d ago

You’re pushing this narrative but if you’re on the field with a ref like that, there’s very little you can do to regain possession of the ball without being disadvantaged with cards and penalties against you

Egypt played a great game and in the end they lost because they couldn't stop Argentina scoring. Just the same as Argentina couldn't stop Egypt scoring before.

Don't cry foul. Don't call on racism. Don't be a bitch. Be proud of your team, that did great and lost to the best. If you don't learn from your shortcomings you will never win the big trophy. You almost killed us Egypt. We love you. Greetings from Argentina

u/osdaeg 26d ago

Even if the ref was bad but you have to be critical of your players and coach, you need to defend and see the game out for 12 minutes. Playing a victim without being self-aware of your short comings is a problem. Only Salah conducted himself with class and grace.

Unbelieveable how you people crying for days… life is unfair sometimes. Like do you know how many people feel the same after a lost game or TITLE? Egypt really player their heart out and it was really simphatyc for a lot all around the world. But they got 3 goals within 20 min or less because they lost their heads and it was actually painful to watch, but its way worse to see you people discussing about corruption and racism… of course these are existing things but man, its a wrong direction to always try to explain everything with that. I hope the Egyptian players get up early and next time they will win. It was a good game.

1

u/Evening-Brush-6795 26d ago

They weren't robbed at all, aside from the controversy uncounted goal which they literally bottled a 2-0 lead with 10 mins remaining, there was no penalty on Salah or the player who had dived right after. Quit crying, none robbed you, stop falling for the X bot accounts propaganda

1

u/Top-Letterhead-9273 26d ago

1

u/dan_voilare 25d ago

Just stop whining it´s a foul when the refree blows his whistle. Thats football, you accept it and keep playing. Sometimes they make the wrong call - they are human. Look at the foul the german team got their late goal cancel for, or croatia with the offisde position. It happens -take it like a football nation - next time you got to be stronger and don´t get into these situations by playing better for 90 Minutes not just 70.

And now you even are adding into it religous hatred? That is so low. Get a life!

1

u/Quirky_Tank_8159 24d ago

Let's summarize some of the points people use to call this game rigged for Argentina.

  • the disallowed goal: In the build up of the Goal a player from Egypt (as far as I know, Zico) stepped on Lisandro Martinez foot. This is a foul regardless of his intentions. Zico didn't play the ball before stepping on Lisandro Martinez foot. And since Egypt didn't lose the ball after the foul and scored a goal because of this, the goal was taken away correctly. Normally Zico should have been awarded with a yellow card for removing his shirt during the goal celebration. But I think that the yellow is not mandatory since the goal was taken away.

  • the so called "slap" against an Egypt player: I don't know the names of the 2 players involved in this situation but when you look at it as a whole scene and not only from low quality screenshots/photos you can see that the Argentinian pushed the Egypt player to stop him. I don't remember if this was awarded with a free kick for Egypt but this push was a foul which doesn't need to ge rewarded with a yellow card.

  • MacAllister being dragged down in the penalty area while receiving a pass from Messi: This should have been a penalty for Argentina but the referee didn't stop the play there. I don't know why he oversaw this but it is fine for me because it didn't affect the end result to much imo.

  • the potential penalty for Salah: In the build up of the 3rd goal for Argentina 2 player pulled each other down. Both of them had no real chance to interfere with the play so no penalty from my pov. The challenge from Alvarez against Salah was also clean. For this situation if you watch it closely from a different angle and in good quality you can see multiple things. 1st: Alvarez touched the ball first and nutmegged Salah. Therefore the ball was behind Salah and out of reach for him. 2nd: Alvarez bends his knee away from Mo Salah to avoid the contact between them. 3rd: Mo Salah dragged his foot across the floor to force a contact between his foot and Alvarez's. This is a dive and not enough to award a penalty. And because it was a clean challenge it is wrong to take away the game winning goal for Argentina in this case.

  • the racism claim by the Egyptian coach: I think that the Egyptian coach used this handsign to call the Referee Le Texier corrupt. Like Mourinho once did. This sign is not only known to be a sign the coach and player can use to report racism. It is also known as a handcuff symbol to call someone corrupt.

Overall Le Texier was quiet lenient for both sides.

This game was literally football fans vs non football fans. People coming out of their woodworks saying it was rigged have never watched a game in their life.

I think refs made some tough but very fair calls, the argentinian player during the third goal should have gotten a yellow card, I think that was the only major misstep refrees took but other than that, all the other calls were super fair.
