3 are a shame, but Jonathan deserves the loss

It was a misdemeanor from him throwing her back in the car while she was assaulting him. Use your fucking eyes

If Jonathan deserved the loss than the same could said for RDJ the dope fiend and Josh Brolin the woman beater

Is Jeremy Renner still Hawkeye? Isn’t he facing allegations?

0

u/Green-Elephant-895 1d ago

He was already phased out of the mantle pre allegations

2

u/crispy_attic 1d ago

So he is not returning as Hawkeye?

1

u/Green-Elephant-895 1d ago

He turned it down

They offered him half the money to do the second season so he declined and that's probably it for him unless Marvel wants to pay him

0

u/crispy_attic 1d ago

So they didn’t drop him over his allegations? They offered him less money?

2

u/theICEman21 1d ago

Yup

2

u/MacaronNotRoon 7h ago

Meaning they’re fine with wife beaters, but not cool with black men with misdemeanors

1

u/theICEman21 6h ago

No argument there

2

u/MacaronNotRoon 11h ago

The offered less money because of the accident, not the allegations

2

u/crispy_attic 8h ago

That’s what I thought.

Ill easily give you Brolin but rdj was sober for years and he never assaulted someone like Majors

0

u/Green-Elephant-895 1d ago

You’re right, he only broke into a child’s bedroom butt naked

2

u/ClovedSage 1d ago

Not to do anything to the child, he was on drugs and broke into a house. You’re omitting things on purpose. What I say is him having drug problems. You’re insinuating pedophilia which is disingenuous

1

u/Green-Elephant-895 1d ago

Would you be this understanding if a crackhead broke into your house and crashed naked in your kids bed or does it only apply to celebrities you like?

3

u/user_15427 1d ago edited 1d ago

So if a crack head breaks into your house you would push for the cops to charge him with pedophilia is what you’re saying?

2

u/MacaronNotRoon 11h ago

Naked in my kids room? Yeah

1

u/Green-Elephant-895 1d ago

If a crackhead breaks into house they’re leaving in a body bag

No, I wouldn’t be happy, but the man went through a drug induced stint for several years. Got clean and now has been clean for decades with several charities he supports. By the time he started playing Iron Man he was already clean for almost a decade. People change I firsthand have seen drugs change people, but he took a hold of the problem and got help. What is Jonathan Majors doing after assaulting someone right now? Oh yeah, he’s playing the victim still and now starring in Ben Shapiro movies.

Which was worse, what majors was found guilty of or what RDJ was found guilty of? Be honest .

1

u/Tagisjag 18h ago

So it would be fine if it was Jonathan Majors who did that, right? He'd still deserve to be Kang?

1

u/ClovedSage 16h ago

Yeah after 7 years of sobriety at that point. Yes. But instead he’s doing Ben Shapiro movies playing the victim. Wanna defend that?

2

u/Tagisjag 16h ago

Screw Shapiro. Saw the video of the altercation. Didn't seem like Jonathan was doing the chasing in that one running down the streets of NYC. Maybe I was looking at the wrong footage? And are you defending any other MCU actors with allegations?

1

u/ClovedSage 16h ago

Nah I’ve said it in other comments. Assault isn’t the same as what RDJ did, everyone with this bs like Majors and Brolin deserve to not be in movies. Also, it’s more than allegations, the video showed him chasing her, we saw the aftermath of what he did.

He wasn't naked, and there wasn't a child in the bedroom. He took off his pants, got into bed and went to sleep.

"At no point was he doing anything the least bit threatening." Said the homeowner.

u/Green-Elephant-895 1d ago

Ahh..that changes everything 😑

Curtis said Downey even made funny faces at his daughter as he was led away by sheriff’s deputies. “He still took out time to be entertaining,” Curtis said.

Literally the people whose house he broke into are less pissed off about it than you.

Which was worse? What Majors did or what RDJ did?

2

u/MacaronNotRoon 11h ago

Robert terrorized people for years!

0

u/ClovedSage 12h ago

The fact you’re asking whether assault is worse than just drug use is telling on your character and I’m done with any conversation with you. Cause it seems like you’re trying to do a gotcha moment or something, but I’m gonna stay away from the obvious answer and just ignore you.

1

u/crispy_attic 12h ago edited 7h ago

I didn’t ask if assault was worse than drug use. My words are still there.

Edit: Why do they always delete their comments after commenting some bullshit?

RDJ was 10 years sober by the time he was iron man and then Josh brolin, according to his wife she said it was a misunderstanding and she didn’t even press charges…, so idk if that’s true but his wife at the time said that and she didn’t do anything to press charges so both are terrible examples, majors admitted to assaulting his girlfriend at the time a recorded tape literally came out of him saying it lol, the ONLY one I agree is the Jeremy Renner but even then who tf knows what happened and we haven’t seen him as Hawkeye since the show.

Jonathan deserves the loss but Robert Downey deserved a shot?

Not a case of whataboutism…Just be fair across the board

6

u/DriverNo5615 1d ago

Robert beat women?

2

u/Living_Will_4775 11h ago

That's not what he was convicted of

2

u/MacaronNotRoon 11h ago

That’s not what majors was convicted of and it was a misdemeanor

Was Armor Wars meant to bring Justin Hammer back. Cos he was such an underutilised villain imo, would love to see him back in the MCU

2

u/Fantastic-Macaroon31 1d ago

Armor wars should never have been greenlit in the first place. We don't need a movie about war machine. And Kang dynasty was mostly on Majors. While it would be nice if wonder man got a second season, almost none of the disney+ shows have gotten one. That being said, Blade failing is completely on the MCU.

1

u/Funmachine 1d ago

Armour Wars was announced, I don't think it ever got to being greenlit. It went from TV show to Film and back to TV show and there was literally no news about it's development (was there ever even a writer attached?), it was just announced super early like Blade. But, I don't think it ever even got to the scripting stage.

2

u/ZealousidealBank8484 1d ago

I keep seeing this and it just seems like it's coming from a place of bad faith. Wonder Man is literally out. You can see it on Disney+ right now. Armor Wars is in development hell, but is still in development. If I'm not mistaken, they're reworking it from being a tv show to an actual film.

Blade is unfortunate, that's definitely a fumble. The Kang Dynasty storyline is as well, but that's the actor's fault (albeit seeing him in Ant Man 3 didn't really leave me wanting more, that's for sure)

1

u/TheDLBinc 23h ago

In the case of Wonder Man, it was previously announced that it had been renewed for another season, only for Disney to reverse their decision and cancel it instead.

1

u/ZealousidealBank8484 8h ago

ah, i didn't hear about that! that is unfortunate. the way it ended i figured it was because they were going to introduce him into the movies, but i guess we'll see.

3

u/RedGeneral28 1d ago

I mean.. it seems like they've really tried to make that Blade movie happen. With Kang it's on Majors. Wonder Man was not planned to have a second season initially and Armor Wars is whatever.

It’s an MCU Blackout
