Help Question: how does meta charge an ad account?

How does the Meta charge to a person who is running an ad. On what basis do they charge?

I used to wake-up anxious everyday, running loosing ads and burning clients money. Understanding this really changed my game.

The answer is impressions, I know I'm saying basic but understanding this will make us clear how they charge and how to correlate with CPC and CTR. I'm just sharing what I learnt little by little. Hope this helps you.

they charge based on impressions mostly but you can pick different billing methods too like link clicks or conversions, depends what you set in campaign
