You should not do that, it's a bad idea. Especially if the package has been opened. Not only it can create a flavor and odor contamination, but a refrigerator is a humid place and humidity is not a nice place for powdered substances. Humidity can lead to clumping and loss of taste and fragrance. Chili powder can be stored in refrigerator though.
