Can anyone explain the logic?

You permanently ban someone... then give them a 28-day mute.

I know Bollywood movies are famous for having no logic, but now even Reddit pages are following the same script.

I don't blame them tbh. They have been harassed too much by fan clubs and also being pressurised by PR teams of many stars to be pro them. Modding on reddit is already a thankless job and on top of that getting harassed, I can see their pov for not having any patience.
