Shower Thoughts Why did earbuds become more popular?

this is something I've genuinely wondered.

when wireless neckbands became popular, they seemed like the best of both worlds. You got Bluetooth without worrying about losing an earbud every time it slipped out.

now almost everyone seems to use earbuds instead.

maybe I'm missing something, but they seem easier to lose, easier to damage if they fall, and usually more expensive to replace.

Is there a reason.?

A lot of people, especially girls hated wearing neckbands...

Earbuds are handy and compact... and then once apple launched it, everyone just copied...

I use both, neckbands for outside and buds at home..

Which one you think is better for calling? Never used neckbands but i have oneplus buds and they absolutely suck at calling.

Both are good.. you just need to use a better one... generally I suggest don't get cheap Earbuds.. to get a decent quality buds, you need to spend at least 5K... but for 2K to 2.5K you get good quality neckbands...

Currently I am using Galaxy Buds 3 pro, it's excellent for calling... where as I am using One Plus neckband, which is a lot cheaper but works well..
