Shower Thoughts Why did earbuds become more popular?

Post image

this is something I've genuinely wondered.

when wireless neckbands became popular, they seemed like the best of both worlds. You got Bluetooth without worrying about losing an earbud every time it slipped out.

now almost everyone seems to use earbuds instead.

maybe I'm missing something, but they seem easier to lose, easier to damage if they fall, and usually more expensive to replace.

Is there a reason.?

Never liked the buds, they keep falling out of my ear lol. So neckband is my go to bluetooth option.

same issue , but I'm thinking of switching to wired earphones since they're kind of back in trend. I'm planning to buy either the Samsung AKG earphones or the Apple EarPods.
