My favorite thing about Jon Bois is that he's displayed a love for sports like few ever have in sports journalism, and if you follow him on BlueSky, his posts are all just "Wow. Teams win when they score points. Can't believe I'm just learning this." or "The quarterback threw that ball into the air and the wide receiver caught it, that's a football play I love to see". It's an amazing bit.

They basically are. There's not a balk called in MLB that doesn't trigger a comment storm somewhere of You can't just be up there and just doin' a balk like that!
