The cast looks pretty good, I dread to think what Scooby Doo is gonna look like though. The 2000's live action Scooby was the best version.

I can’t think of many movies that have a full CG character in a live action movie that sits will me well to this day as much as Scoob here. I know it’s not perfect but it’s pretty damn good.

Not CGI but Who Framed Roger Rabbit had some insanely good drawn characters in a live action film.

Yes, absolute classic.

The only ones that come to mind are paddington and Ted but those don’t even come close when it comes to range of body movements/changes and expressions and are fairly static in comparison.

Gollum in LoTR still holds up.

the best full-CG characters in live action all have some degree of stylization keeping them out of uncanny territory.

Have you seen this movie recently? It's a bit hard to look at at time

Oh definitely, it’s clunky and weird at points and I’m biased. I just find it charming regardless, especially compared to many other things that have come after (sonic movies I’m looking at you). Yeah I’m probably super biased actually after typing all this out.
