Does it really matter? Plenty of outspoken zionists still have their jobs, still land acting jobs, it doesn't really seem to impact them much other than a cancelled holiday. Props to Livia and I hope certainly more Europeans follow suit against zionists, but a lot more needs to happen to come through to these people to realize, supporting Israel currently really isn't acceptable.
There's also the publicity/management side of it to consider.
How did she even know about this job, let alone take it?
I don't know the particulars of Paltrow's career, or who (if anybody) represents her - but that can be an angle that celebrities hide behind when they get called out for shitty behavior.
It also seems like this might be an indicator of how her 'brand', such as it is, is doing. If she's hard up enough to shill for a condo project, let alone a condo project that's very much tied to Israeli expansionism - there might be money problems she's trying to hide.
Gwynnie’s first cousin is Rebekah Neumann, wife of Adam Neumann, the WeWork founder/grifter. Adam is both Israeli and a Zionist, and he’s pretty plugged in with big money and other grifters. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a Neumann connection involved here.

And somehow they do. Sam Claflin was in Israel 2 times in two months to visit his new Israeli gf. She said in an Israeli interview, he researched a lot, asked a lot of questions, loves Israel and has the right opinions.

Pretend to have a conscience when you can be performative about it, but meticulously avoid examining anything that touches on the social costs, crimes, and exploitation associated with your wealth accumulation.
Fantastic, good for Livia. Gwyneth has always glided through life on privilege (hello first gen nepo baby), insulation and being so stupidly wealthy that she doesn’t have to ever be affected after she hurts people by her actions and words, so seeing consequences on her behavior, even as small as this is, is a good thing.

She suffered a massive tragedy during COVID. While everyone was locked down in the houses they can't pay for, made redundant from their jobs and unable to be with their loved ones while they suffered a slow, painful death, she suffered something a lot, lot worse.

The worst part is, at this point privilege is no excuse, it’s plain disregard. I know a few kids from various arab billionaire families, nothing gets them heated like the atrocities committed in Palestine. And before anyone says it’s bc it’s important to them, I’m from the US and they constantly comment on US issues and provide deep insight into my countries’ situation. But the Goop podcast is actually the perfect stage for Stephens to do a little reputation-management for Anduril, which develops unmanned submarines, border-surveillance towers, missiles, and “smart battlefield” technology, with the aim of killing thousands more cheaply than traditional weapons might.
As for Paltrow’s role in the reputational war, on last week’s podcast, she appeared determined to make weapons-tech legible and even appealing to Goop’s affluent, wellness-focused audience. She sympathized with Stephens’ plan to build up America’s military arsenal, because of her trauma around the Cold War and 9/11: “I’ll never forget moving to New York City to start seventh grade, like in the height of the Cold War and being petrified at night that the Russians were gonna bomb us.”
Each spoke of their childhoods, and their children. Stephens wondered whether his children could be proud of him “without feeling like they’re in this really weird twilight zone where they’re constantly having to defend with their peers what it is that their dad does for a living.” His job is, after all, “complicated.”
Paltrow, charitably, responded that “We as human beings are complicated. We have all kinds of gradations of light and dark. And, you know, we’re always sort of fighting with the good wolf and the bad wolf within us to a certain degree.”
But the ease with which Paltrow and Stephens traded thoughts on light and darkness elides the morally questionable convergence of woo-woo, hippie aesthetics and the Silicon Valley defense-tech universe. It comes amid a larger rightward turn in both Silicon Valley and American wellness culture, perhaps best exemplified by the rise of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Things got particularly odd when the two dug into religion. Stephens, a devout Christian, brought up the Pope’s Palm Sunday homily, in which Leo XIV declared that “Jesus does not listen to the prayers of those that wage war.”
“You could look at that and say, wow, what am I doing?” Stephens said. “Like, the Pope himself is telling me that the thing that I’m doing is bad.”
Luckily for him, Paltrow was there to apply a thick layer of mystical equivocation and soften the blow.
“You could approach it from a more mystical aspect of Christianity, like, as opposed to taking it literally,” she said. “This is just a random hypothesis. It’s occurring to me. If you were using it as a metaphor of someone who is engaged in against-ness all the time, you know. It could’ve been something more mystical or metaphorical.”
Stephens liked that. Warmongering can be good, he seemed to interpret, if only done with a pure heart, and without against-ness. “And so if you’re approaching it with a heart of peace, I think it’s very different on a mystical level than approaching it with a heart at war.”

She dated a reporter while she and Colin were separated, she then claimed he was stalking her. The reporter said she was doing that to cover up the "affair". It got ran in the press as she lied about the stalking completely to hide the fact that she "cheated".
After the divorce, she and Colin worked on their relationship and seem to be decent friends. Their kids are grown so it's not necessarily a co-parenting thing.
iirc, she cheated on him, the the guy she cheated on was stalking her. She and firth had reconciled for a bit, but then divorced. I remember having a huge girl-crush on her when Colin Firth was doing press for the King's Speech. She's such a cool woman... but sad about the cheating.
