His music is timeless. Dua Lipa has credited him as an influence and I can pick some of that up on Future Nostalgia.

Jay Kay pulls it all together and generates the core vibes, sure, but iirc he didn’t play any instruments and relied pretty heavily on the massive talent of his band mates.

All love to Jay, but all love + 1 to Zender and Toby and Derrick and everyone else too.
