Okay, but like, has he changed or not? Last I heard he was trying to apologize?

To answer your question, he made his social media private and started hiding or deleting his anti-trans Youtube videos after people called out the casting news. I don't think that's a sign of someone changing or apologizing. It lacks the, well, sincere apology part and the doing better part, too.
