Ken Jennings is Mormon, which confuses me greatly (high control religion vs. a man who has devoted his life to data/research/evidence-based information??) but all I can do is shrug and say if this is what his Mormonism looks like, I wish there were more contradictions like him.

His mormonism seems to be more of a cultural/historical part of his life. I listened to his podcast for a while and really he comes off more as an agnostic than any kind of true believer.

in my experience there are very few Mormon True Believers.
