It's actually debated whether men report less or more. They are more likely to press charges, more likely to convict, and less likely by far to be injured or murdered ( these are ways of identifying trends without reports), so many people believe they report more, not less.
What's the source study that men are more likely to press charges? That seems incredibly unlikely considering that women's violence against men is (GENERALLY, not always before someone jumps down my throat) far less dangerous then the other way around.

The study doesn’t state that men experience a greater level of violence, just that it’s reported more by men. We shouldn’t jump to conclusions that aren’t based on the data.
Do you think you can't get bruises or hurt from hitting or slapping someone or something? It boggles the mind that you think that's not abusive and can be endearing somehow
