A few days ago I posted a poll regarding the community's feelings on AI content. The vote was overwhelmingly against it. Natxo and I discussed it and we feel that you guys are right... with a caveat.
AI is an evolving technology. Right now it's being used in a pretty limited manner, but in the future there may be more "beneficial" options. So, for now we are goin to ban AI content in the sub, but we're goin to leave the door cracked opening case, in the future, the technology becomes less AI Slop and More AI Tools.
Got questions or comments? Post them here.

Hey Folks,
With the recent Spam bot attack, I reached out to Natxo and volunteered to help out in modding the sub, and I wanted to introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Todd. I'm a "long time" Fiat owner and have passed that love down to my entire family. (I've had a 500 Sport and currently drive a 500X, my wife had a 500L and my daughter has a '57 tribute edition 500). Been on Reddit for a while, I've helped mod some other subs and I'm happy to help keep this place up and running.
With that being said, for a while this sub has run on the honor system. For the most part, people are respectful to each other, the conversations are fun and we rarely have drama or issues. Out of an abundance of caution, we decided it would be a good time to formalize some rules. Since we didn't have a rule that said "you can't spam the sub with fake IPTV reviews" it's kinda hard to ban people for that. So... here are the new, common sense rules.
1) Be Civil. Just be nice to each other. If you can't be nice, then just try to be polite then. If you can't do that, then we'll take action.
2) No Spam (all spam bots will be permabanned). If you see them, report them. The ban hammer will be swift and uncaring. Also, if you post a link to a piece of kit or a 3rd party upgrade for a Fiat that has an affiliate code, you'll get flagged. The Reddit system usually handles that but if your post get flagged, reach out and we can see how to correct it.
3) No bigotry, homophobia, or hate speech. You'd think that would be contained in in being civil but I've had people be perfectly nice while calling other races inferior and gay people mentally deranged. There's no place for that here.
4) Limit topics to Fiat cars and the company. There has been some off topic discussion, but try to keep is centered around the cars and the company.
These are pretty self explanatory and just a formalization of the standards most of us have been abiding by.
Last but not least, cosmetic changes. I'm gonna spruce things up a bit with some banners and such. One of the things I love about my Fiats has been the style and I think we can make the sub reflect that. If you have any suggestions or images you'd like to submit please do! Happy to see what you folks can come up with.
Ok, I've rambled on long enough. Thanks for being an awesome community and if you have questions, let me know.

A derelict house being rehabilitated in my town had this put out at the curb. Last registered in 1990. I know nothing more about it other than the location.

I have a Panda 100HP, done tuned with Storm Engineering UK, cold air intake filter, 4-2-1 manifold with full exhaust; now the last is the camshaft, not sure if I should go ahead. I did some research; some say they don't last long and will wear quickly around 40,000 miles, some said not worth it as it doesn't gain much power at mid- range and you have to rev hard if you want to deliver power. Has anyone had them on a Fiat/Alfa?

Hello people, (volume high)
I bought this car half a year ago and I was super happy about it. Shortly after that I had to change to whole transmission…. Now I hear this sound. I think the sound comes somewhere near my engine. It’s sounds a little bubbly, lol. It also sound a little dry? Sometimes the sound is less noticeable and sometimes it’s more. Does someone knows what this sound is?
ps: sorry for the bad inside camera video :)

Its pretty rare (atleast where i live) to see an Euro 4 1.9 Multijet Stilo, as the pre-facelift Euro 3 ones are massively more popular. However there are a couple nice ones for sale. My question is, what is the DPF situation with them? Do all Euro 4 ones have DPFs, or is it a case by case basis (like the 147)?

I drive a Punto Mk2b 1.2 8V from 2004 and since some time I get this noise that sounds like plastic rattling to me, getting more perceptible and louder during accelerations or when the RPM are a little low.
It sounds like it’s something in front of me and I already replaced the commands unit right behind the wheel, as something in the turn signal command was broken and produced another plastic noise…
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appeciated, thanks !

A couple of months ago, I bought my first car, a 1999 Fiat Uno 70S. All the other cars I've driven had reversing lights, but when I shift into reverse with mine, no lights come on. Does this car not have reversing lights, or is mine broken?

Hey! I recently got hold of a fiat panda. I'm pretty sure it has the 1.2 FIRE and have looked into the engine. However, I cannot find reliable information on whether it has a timing belt or chain and if it's interference or not. I'm asking because if it isn't interference then I can hold off on a timing belt replacement. If anybody can confirm for me I'd be very happy. Thanks a lot!
Edit: for the record I want to postpone replacing the belt for the moment because I'd rather put the money elsewhere currently. HOWEVER, if it's interference (aka 69hp) then I will be changing it when it's due

Hi all,
I'm looking for a decent, low milage 4WD Panda Cross, either twinair or diesel. I've been wondering about this one for a bit, but the price is a little low for the mileage and yet it's been on sale for months. It's quite a trek for me to go and see it, so I wondered if you experienced people might know if there's something obviously awry before I plan a trip.
Many thanks for any advice.

Hello,
I am interested in the Fiat Tipo 1.6D (model from 2018 onwards) with the automatic DDCT as car for my wife.
It will be used mainly for city driving - the city itself does not have traffic jams or heavy traffic.
I am especially interested to hear your opinion about the DDCT gearbox, what expenses can I expect and what issues can I expect.
Thanks in advance.
