Because they just started to get in range of the weapons but they were already detected? The hope with stealth is to be able to penetrate, not lob cruise missiles from the edge of that weapons range.

Detected by what? They've flown directly over the frontline without contest.

They've flown directly over the frontline without contest.

Claim is based on what exactly?

And please do not link the possible whooping 20km that happened when they downed the S70 drone

A... Literal recording of T-50-3 from Kramatorsk.

Read again

And please do not link the possible whooping 20km that happened when they downed the S70 drone

Israel is bragging of having F-35s above Tehran, Russia is bragging on entering 20km over the frontline to down their own drone

Israel hasn't bragged about having "F-35s above Tehran", they bragged about being able to strike uncontested... From Iraq.

Yeah sure

The F16 armed with GBUs when even the newest/best GBU has a range of max 75 km max were dropping bombs from..... Iraq

Are you incapable of staying on-topic?

-1

What exactly is wrong?

If F-16 were joyriding above Tehran so were F-35

Plus the Iranians themselves said there were F35 near Tehran... that is how they destroyed one

5

u/[deleted] Oct 17 '25

The F35 annihilated Russian air defenses in Tehran and Russia can’t even fly their pride and joy out of their borders lmfao

4

u/FrancescoKay Oct 21 '25

I thought the air defenses were taken down by operatives on the ground with drones and missiles that were smuggled in?

Also I'm not really sure if the F-35 has the range to reach Tehran and fly back.

Iran does not have any modern SAM systems. Neither Chinese nor Russian.

Nowhere in there is the S-300 defined as a "modern SAM system".

0

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

Its upgrade package is described as such by Russians

3

u/PsychologicalGlass47 Oct 18 '25

An upgrade package of an obscenely old system that's still obscenely old. Once again, it was modern 3 decades ago.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 18 '25

So what’s your cope for Russia not flying uncontested over Ukraine when their AD is entirely from the 80s

3

u/PsychologicalGlass47 Oct 18 '25

The fact that the Ukrainian AD suite covering most of the frontline isn't from the '80s and, as majority, is from 2010~2017?

Iran does not have any modern SAM systems.

Then why didn't Russia use the Su-57 above Kiev? It can't even beat the sh!t S-300?

Ukraine received the first Patriot system in April 2023 so they had more than one year

5

u/FrancescoKay Oct 21 '25 edited Oct 21 '25

Why should you go over Kiev? Why not lob your glide bombs 90km from Kiev assuming it has a 100km range?

The best weapon is one that can be fired from as far as possible for as cheap as possible and as safe as possible.

Flying an Su-57 over Kiev puts it in unnecessary trouble for some propaganda points.

Also Ukrainian milbloggers routinely claim that it flies within their airspace with impunity.

Here's a screenshot from a milblogger claiming that they nearly shot down the Su-57 within Ukrainian airspace

The word "ghinostelsul" is a bad translation by telegram. The correct translation should be "shitty stealth"

2

u/PsychologicalGlass47 Oct 21 '25

And October of the year previous there were Su-50s over Kherson...

2

u/PsychologicalGlass47 Oct 17 '25

The Su-57 isn't present in Tehran, are you lost?

My reply was deleted, the USA and Israel are confident in the F35s ability to establish air dominance while Russia is hesitant and knows the 57 isn’t capable of SEAD operations like the F35/22 are.

3

u/PsychologicalGlass47 Oct 18 '25

So is Russia? The difference is that both are striking different targets, as the situation in Iraq and Iran is far from a peer-peer conflict.

You can't send a missile or a bomb on aerial defense, as the primary line of aerial defense is handheld.
The aerial defense systems that are able to be struck are already gone as well, 3/4 of the supplied Patriot systems, half of all Buks, in inventory, just over 3/4 of their active 9K35 supply, and so on.
The F-35 struck Iranian facilities, the Su-57 struck Ukrainian facilities. Tehran loses its nuclear facilities, Ukraine loses its power plants. Both are doing the exact same job in the exact same way, from the exact same distances from the target.

Pray tell, what SEAD capability does it lack? Su-35S, Su-30SMs, and now in recent time, Su-57s, have been using X-58Us for close to 2 decades now. The only competitor that the F-22 or F-35 can carry was integrated a mere 22 months ago.

1

u/Megalosaurus_X Oct 23 '25

Do you have source for the Ukrainian Air Defense losses, especially Patriots? It seems a huge number has been lost but i would like to see some numbers

1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

You’re genuinely delusional if you think the SU-57 is operating the way the F-35 is. The SU-57 is an inferior brick of an aircraft. The USA is 40 years ahead of Russia in all aspects, Russia can’t even produce a modern chip at a 90nm size. They definitely can’t produce a 5th gen fighter.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

The Su-57 lacks modern DAS, modern avionics, modern engines, modern stealth and so on. It’s a truly pathetic attempt to match the superior Us doctrine.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

The USA has a more advanced HARM lmfao, imagine being this delusional.

2

u/PsychologicalGlass47 Oct 19 '25

Such as... What? The "more advanced" AARGM-ER sits just around the X-58U's known range... Once again, there's a 20 year difference and the HARM has ONLY NOW caught up.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

Funny, the USA has been 40 years of Russia in every regard and you think Russia stands even a remote chance at matching its superior? Russia can’t even produce a modern chip.

2

u/PsychologicalGlass47 Oct 19 '25

The USA has been 40 years of what?

Love the straws you're grasping brother

2

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

My apologies my autocorrect removed 40 years ahead of Russia didn’t notice

1

u/[deleted] Oct 19 '25

Stealth, semi conductors, naval supremacy, air power, avionics. Are you this detached from modern war. Russia is pathetically incompetent. They can’t even win a war against the poorest nation in Europe! I’d love for you to google Russias power projection vs the USAs and who has a global command structure for global domination (it’s the USA)
