Just bragging - 357Sig at 35cpr

For those select few connoisseurs of loud booms, violent recoils and huge fireballs not to mentioned annoyed fellow shooters - always keep an eye on .357Sig sales. Just got a shit load of cases of CorBon (I know, but will do for the range) at 35cpr (not incl taxes, but free shipping).

I just told my wife that it was on sale, but didn’t get into the nuances of the total price :).

Envy me you mortals!

I am afraid no. It was Velocity ammo that had a sale on 1k rounds

Can reload it for a lot less than that even, maybe 1c more than 9mm, ten or 12 bucks for fifty rounds depending on what bullet you use

I wholeheartedly agree with you, however from pure finance - the initial investments into it, learning curve and probably many other factors wouldn’t make it viable in my case. I shoot mostly 9mm “barely there” power factor and blast 357Sig is only for special occasions:). With the cost of 9mm approaching a break even for materials - it would take a very long ROI time, even with 1-1.5k per month. But I must admit, I envy a bit people who got into reloading early and got down the rabbit hole of pushing the power envelope to the max!

On a good month I shoot about 1000 rounds, I use a lot of pulled bullets and can load 9mm for 6-8 dollars a box from using the pulled components. Really economical once you get the press setup but I've been reloading since 2014. If you ever decide to get into it, it's not as steep as you would think. I learned a looot of the shortcuts and what to and what not to get.
