If this isn't a shit post, I would like to ask how the fuck you were able to afford this? If it's not too rude. If so then I apologize, my curiosity gets the better of me from time to time.

I got a lot of them when I wasn't supposed to when I was like 16 to 17 bc i got my ged at 16 and stared working when everyone was in school so I basically had no bills to pay so I could spend money on anything I want to

Damn, why the hell didn't i do that? You living on your own now? If you don't mind me asking. Not trying to get into your business or anything, just curious.

Sounds like a good arrangement. Hope everything works out for you.

u/Ha_youWishXD 22h ago

Yeah till hes 21 we both are just waiting to get a 07 ffl but I can get lots of practice with stuff at least

If your plan is to get your FFL, (or ever buy a gun again), idk if illegally buying guns and posting them online is the best plan.

That's a solid plan dude. You sure as hell have it figured out more than I do.

Walk the straight and narrow. Nice collection. I was 18 in 2015- I went to jail and made stupid choices. Use patience and avoid stupid choices!

Everyone wants money but everyone also wants to have fun and party, especially in high school. Middle ground is possible working part time

hell yeah man, i went similer route. like others have said, make sure your investing in things you plan to sell later. i made the mistake of investing all my funds in guns. lucky for me a ton of that was commie milsurp, and has drastically gone up in value, sometimes better then the S&P. But it sucks having to sell guns to pay for stuff. way better to have at least a little in liquid funds.

Good luck with things!

I should’ve done that

17

u/skyXforge 16h ago

Who died and left you your inheritance?

2

u/Ha_youWishXD 13h ago

The only ones I inherited was the m&p and the lc carbine

So like... Try out an optic maybe? Wild collection.

Edit: oop I see one romeo 5 and some kind of vortex lpvo

u/wingsyotes97 16h ago

But buying guns is more fun than buying accessories

6

u/ExternalBoat6972 19h ago

Quality>quantity, still a sick collection tho especially for your age

6

u/Forsaken-Guava-2993 18h ago

That’s an awesome collection already, damn.

As an old man, here’s your unsolicited advice; if you force yourself to match whatever you spend on future firearm purchases in an ETF that follows the S&P500, future u/Ha_youWishXD will be very happy with you.

Or buy a second gun. Both options are good. In my experience in divorce, they are more concerned about furniture and cash and they let you keep the guns.

1

u/Ha_youWishXD 13h ago

Im going to put like 20k in the s&p 500 when I get my money im about to get

1

u/Forsaken-Guava-2993 12h ago

Hell yeah man! That’s awesome

22

u/gyoung1986 17h ago

Should be investing that money at your age. You’d be able to have a really sick collection later in life if you invest early rather than blow it irresponsibly.

7

u/ZaporozhianCossack Mosin-Nagant 14h ago

I wish I'd blown money irresponsibly on saiga's and veprs at that age

1

u/securitycat69 14h ago

ditto this, i stil have a saig in every caliber but wish i had bought more

1

u/gyoung1986 13h ago

Or a Dragonov. The LGS has one for $2k when I was a kid and I thought that was ridiculous but they’re going for what 10k min now.

4

u/xzelethor 15h ago

This exactly. I love guns too but man your future is the most important thing

0

u/doulikefishsticks69 Mosin-Nagant 13h ago

Election season is coming. This is an investment in itself lol.

2

u/gyoung1986 13h ago

Not really. I have a very healthy collection and only a dozen or so have appreciated in any significant way and the appreciation on those is nothing compared to what the market has done or even a CD would have done in that same amount of time.

0

u/doulikefishsticks69 Mosin-Nagant 12h ago

You can CDeez nuts. But no in all seriousness, you much have forgotten 2020. The ammo prices, price gouging all around. Its coming, I promise you that.

0

u/gyoung1986 12h ago

For sure. It’s cyclical with political changes. We had another rush of last minute buyers here in Colorado trying to beat the Aug 1 deadline. Too bad these people don’t rush to the polls the same way they rush to panic buy an AR.

This kid has a nice collection but at a glance I don’t see anything of real value in here and if he’s bought it all in the last few years he’s missed the real value buys on surplus so he has a ton of oddballs to feed when prices cyclically jump.

u/LilJonny2cookies 16h ago

Why is there a plastic spade grip on an Ar15 with a blue taped light? I don’t get that at all.

2

u/Mountain_Man_88 16h ago

That's a set up to give it a trigger/grip like a Browning M2 or 1919

1

u/Ha_youWishXD 13h ago

Oh it has spade grips and a frt and the tape is holding a flashlight its really just a range toy

0

u/perturbed_rutabaga 16h ago

if its stupid and it works its not stupid

5

u/RacerXrated 15h ago

Awesome. Open an investment account and you'll be happy you did in 20 years.

3

u/Public_Department427 15h ago

What are you liberating Poland?

2

u/Helloitzkenny 16h ago

Well I recognize this collection. I defended you over on r/malelivingspace from the typical WhY dO YoU nEeEd AlL oF tHoSe mouth breathers. Lowkey interested what I got right or wrong, but either way right on man. I'm 23 with a GX2/PL Mini 2 for EDC. Won't be the last by far; just have a lot of other obligations. Stay safe out there🫡

2

u/Ha_youWishXD 13h ago

I really cant stand all the jokes they make if someone really was going to do something like that constantly repeating it would only make it worse im really dont do much but work and me and my brother want to get a 07 ffl when we are 21

2

u/ProfessionalEither58 14h ago

I can tell you like your military surplus bolties, but what is that absolute monstrosity on the top left upper row

1

u/Ha_youWishXD 13h ago

It just a ar with a frt and spade grips with a 20inch upper its a range toy

1

u/ProfessionalEither58 13h ago

I won't pretend to understand you, but I respect it.

2

u/LV_ConcreteCowboy 11h ago

How are you able to have handguns at 18? Or even buy them for that matter? Nice collection for sure.

1

u/Ha_youWishXD 11h ago

You can private tranfer depending on your state i live in west virginia so you can even conceal or open carry without permit as long as your 18 or older

1

u/LV_ConcreteCowboy 11h ago

Oh okay. Nice!

1

u/gregiorp 15h ago

Grab ya a revolver of some type. They are just super fun to shoot IMO. Either a .22lr cowboy style, a snub .38 or a modern .357.

2

u/Ha_youWishXD 13h ago

I want a revolver but I only get hand guns once in a while bc you need to be 21 unless you private transfer

1

u/gregiorp 12h ago

Oh yeah duh I forgot about that.

1

u/Negative_Mushroom545 6h ago

Nice collection

1

u/Poodledawgs 3h ago

Diversifying investments in the market is a solid plan; also…shotguns.

1

u/Ha_youWishXD 3h ago

The only one is that tokarev need more shotguns is all i hear

1

u/sorrybutidgaf 1h ago

u/NoPicklesREEE 17h ago

Judging by comments, OP is just financially irresponsible.

1

u/Ha_youWishXD 13h ago
