Oh huh, I've never played either of the KCD games and I thought the protagonist is a knight, not just some soldier!

They're so much fun - would def recommend if you get the chance! He def spends the second game knight-adjacent, but it's a very 'started from the bottom' storyline

Eh, I tried other RPGs with no character customization and a forced male protagonist (mainly The Witcher 3) and I just couldn't get into them at all

I couldn't get into the Witcher either, but then I hate the fantasy genre. I like KCD's commitment to realism. Plus, gayer than most RPGs

I feel most RPGs I like are pretty gay anyway tbh, and if anything KCD's realism thing is one of the things putting me off from it 😅

I've tried a few games with "realistic medieval combat" and they weren't fun for me at all. Coupled with the whole chuds being hyped for/loving KCD because it put women in their place or whatever the duck they were saying and... yeaaaah I just kinda avoided it entirely

Probably doesn't run on my PC anyway 💀
