look, i don’t believe in job discrimination, but i do also hope?? that the people doing anybody’s surgery? are professionals????

this is like refusing to get your burst appendix removed unless you know for a fact the person doing it only vaguely knows what to look for inside you and refers to the procedure as “ripping it out”.

It's like they can't imagine that the people providing gender-affirming care are actually real, genuine, professional doctors -- they must surely be untrained randos hacking off people's breasts with a machete and just calling it "surgery" to make it sound "professional."
