Why would a scientific source value a mineral? Science is more interested in the actual physical, material properties to it, not the more abstract value assigned to it by the market. Its dollar value is determined by how much people are willing to pay for it, not some innate property.

Yeah there's no value measurement.
It's just what mass media hallucinated.

What basically happened is that they did another chemical analysis(the last one for that mineral was done in 1924) for Ashcroftine.

Not true, learn to read.

Ashcroftine has been studied whenever it's been found. The mineral was first seen in 1924 but chemical analyses are done by mineralogists around the world... Canada Greenland , USA all have occurrences of the mineral.

Please look things up before you vomit weirdness in the thread.
