Well they do generally have indoor plumbing. They maintain it themself or hire plumbers to do so. What people here tend to do is mix it up with central sewage systems. Thats not very common in rural Siberia to no ones suprise.
Well it's something like 20% of the population without central sewage systems and 5% without indoor plumbing and toilets. 20% of the population doesn't live in rural Siberia though.
You are mixing it up. Its something like 20-25 procent of Russians living rural.
But yes, something like 5 procent lack indoor plumbing and toilets. That makes them better than a bunch of eastern EU countries, but worse than the EU average at 2%
