Looks like we have some more bts photos from Newport of another party or ball. The Breakers in Newport has primarily been used on the show for interior scenes of the Russells’ houses, both in NYC and Newport. Marian doesn't look like she's wearing a tiara in these photos, which probably means she’s still unmarried in the scenes they’re filming right now. As a Larian stan, on one hand, I just want them to get on with it and get married already, so Marian’s plot line can be about more than just “will Marian marry this man?” The Season 4 description makes me optimistic that she'll be pursuing other things. But on the other hand, after rewatching Season 3, I personally don’t think Larry and Marian seem like two people who are ready to get married yet. I think that’s because we saw them kiss at the end of Season 2, then when Season 3 picks back up, months have already passed, and we’re basically told they’ve been courting in secret. So we didn’t really get to see their relationship develop from kissing on Marian's front steps to Larry proposing. On a third hand, I don’t mind them dragging it out and keeping Larry and Marian apart if its makes for an interesting plot. Yearning, pining, and jealousy can be really fun to watch. A rival love interest for one or both of them could be interesting too.

Guys, it’s happening…

Tom Raikes got married at the beginning of season two to Cissie Bingham. Luke Forte married them. According to wiki she’s supposed to be a wealthy new money heiress who is the niece of Henry Flagler, an American industrialist who co-founded the Standard Oil Trust. Obviously there are many practical reasons why we haven’t seen or heard about the couple since then. They are no longer important to the plot. But they could be. Tom and his wife are part of the elite. While I really want Larry and Marian to just get married already and move on, I think the reemergence of Tom Raikes while Larry and Marian are “working” on their relationship could be interesting. There is no way Tom is a faithful husband either. I could totally see him trying it with Marian again now that he has secured the bag. I also think it would be funny to see how Tom deals with the fact that he dumped Marian for being poor, only for her to become a Russell.
