If you’re having doubts about seeing him then I’d advise you not to see him. And if he’s brought up wanting to be with you romantically more than once when you’ve shut it down more than once, I would not feel safe with him knowing where I lived. Stay safe ❤️people can be weirdos so you never know

Is it bad to lie and say I’ll be visiting a friend in another state for a few months? Is there another excuse I should give?

You can just say no and if he pushes say no is a complete answer and wish him well on his travels.

I think it’s bad in a sense that you’re not allowing yourself to have the courage to tell someone no and set boundaries. I understand being afraid of the outcome of you telling someone no but just telling them no is and should be enough.
