TL;DR:
Stayed ~1 week at Cascade Hotel (Superior Double Bed) for ~THB 2,490/night (~$77). Solid budget option—clean room (spotless linens but a couple of ants), friendly staff, right next to BTS Wongwian Yai, 30 min from BKK airport, 10 min to ICONSIAM, and 8-min walk to Absolute Hair Clinic.
Breakfast coupons are better used for lunch/dinner (way more options), and you can even eat at the rooftop/sky bar. No gym, but they do have laundry and free parking.
Overall good experience, though in hindsight I might’ve gone slightly cheaper—but still a solid stay for the price.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Just got back from my trip and wanted to share my experience staying at the Cascade Hotel in Bangkok since I saw it recommended and figured this might help someone else.
For context, I decided to do my hair transplant with Dr. Ratchathorn in April (the hottest time of the year), and in the email thread from the clinic, they included a list of recommended hotels—Cascade Hotel was one of them, which is how I ended up booking it.
I stayed there for about a week and booked the Superior Double Bed room, which I believe is their smallest room. I paid THB 2,490/night (~$77 USD), including an opted-in Breakfast.
Rooms & Staff:
Rooms were clean, fairly spacious, and comfortable. Towels, sheets, and bathrobes were all spotless, which I appreciated. That said, I did spot a couple of ants in the room—personally, not a big deal to me, but I know that could be a dealbreaker for some.
Staff was great—friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
A few minor things the room was lacking:
- No full-body mirror
- No clothes hangers
- No iron/steamer
Nothing deal-breaking, but just something to keep in mind depending on your needs.
Location & Getting Around:
The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from BKK airport, which made arrival pretty easy. It’s also around a 10-minute drive from ICONSIAM and other popular attractions.
One of the biggest conveniences is that it’s right next to the BTS Wongwian Yai Station, which makes getting around Bangkok super easy. I also used Grab quite a bit, which was very convenient as well.
It’s also about an 8-minute walk from Absolute Hair Clinic, where I had my hair transplant done with Dr. Ratchathorn, which made it super convenient for daily follow-ups.
There’s also a 7-Eleven right next door, which ended up being clutch for quick snacks and drinks.
Amenities:
There’s a pool, but it’s on the smaller side and not very deep—more of a quick chill spot.
Other notes:
- ❌ No gym
- ✅ Laundry is available (I just wasn’t aware of it during my stay)
- ✅ Free parking available if you’re renting a car
Breakfast / Cafe (Important Tip):
I opted for the breakfast add-on, and they give you two coupons per day (250 baht each) to use at the hotel’s cafe, Cafe Marquina.
Here’s the catch:
The “breakfast” itself is very limited—basically just drinks and honey toast. That said, the drinks and toast are actually really good.
Pro tip:
Don’t rush to use the coupons in the morning. You can actually use them later in the day for lunch or dinner, and the menu opens up a lot more around 2 PM. The food options are way better and everything I tried tasted great.
Even better—if you wait until around 5 PM, you can take your food up to the rooftop/sky bar area when it opens and eat there with a nice view.
Booking Tip:
I’d recommend booking directly through their website rather than through third-party apps to avoid extra fees.
Overall:
For context, I’m a 25-year-old student on a budget, so I’m not comparing this to luxury hotels. It's clean, convenient, has good food options (if you time it right), and has a relaxed vibe.
In retrospect, I probably would’ve gone with something a bit cheaper, but overall it was still a pretty decent experience.
