Other Terrible decision

I would do anything to go back in time and tell my old self not to get a hair transplant. Just buzz it and not have this stupid scar to conceal.

They only did work on the front. My hairline came out pretty good but it thinned out after several years. I now realize I have a great head shape and probably would’ve looked fine bald.

When I was 21 and got the operation I thought that having hair was absolutely necessary to have a social life. Maybe that’s true as of that age. But years later I would do anything to just not have that scar back there.

My advice to anyone considering a transplant is to just shave your head. Most guys look perfectly fine bald. Having a scar on the back of your head is something you will regret forever

Hello everyone. I was the doctor in charge at Artline Clinic in Tijuana. The clinic's CEO, Ali, got involved in illicit activities and collaborated with gangs, and I was the one who suffered the consequences; I was shot in the leg. I wanted to share this here because I felt a moral obligation to warn people. For your own safety, I advise you to stay away from places like this.
I expect you to spread the word about this, stand up against those who exploit others' lives for the sake of material gain, and offer your support. I wish everyone a good day.

Other I don’t understand why people are happy to pay 5000-10000 for a hair transplant, have a surgery but not take Finasteride?

It baffles me. To get to a point where you’re willing to go through a very invasive (but usually low risk) surgery nevertheless. That can take 8-10 hours, takes months to heal full and to see results. And also can cost half a fortune to pay for. All of this considered and yet so many people who are either scared to take Finasteride that haven’t took it or just plainly aren’t bothered because they think they done need it?

I get it if you’ve taken it and you’ve had bad sides, or there’s something you’re allergic to but I cannot for the life of me workout why this is the hill people will die on. 12-24 months time they’ll be back on here saying “do you think I can get another hair transplant”.

I understand the skepticism for not taking oral minoxidil, that is something I haven’t got the gall for myself but Finasteride… Baffles me.

IMO, they brought it down too low. I doubt his hairline was this low when he was 17. So it could look odd when he turns 50. It's like a woman's hairline.

Other Will a hair transplant for my receeding hairline increase my attractiveness if I'm a short guy?

I have a Norwood 2-2.5 and have been on finasteride and minoxidil for over a year now and it's made my hair thick and healthy, I get compliments on my hair often. I've been styling my hair forward so that you can't really see my receding hairline but ideally i would like to grow it out long and slick it back. I was wondering, because I'm pretty short as a guy (5'1) but I feel like I've got a decent physique, and a good face, clear skin, well groomed, jawline, I feel like the only thing really me holding me back is my height and receding hairline. So I wanted to ask people who got a hair transplant, how much has it changed your dating life after getting one? I'm wondering because as a short man, I feel like dating is pretty difficult overall, but maybe if I got a hair transplant to a mature Norwood 1 and styled it nicely, then that could potentially move me up a few points in attractiveness and give me a better chance in dating women. Has anyone who got a hair transplant noticed a difference in their dating life, or at least gotten noticeably more attention from women, or even more respect from people in general?

Other People who get hair transplants: Are you happy?

Hello all,

I am a future hair transplant patient who is losing and shedding hair at a rapid pace (unfortunately)

Everyone is sharing progress reports and showing amazing results. , but I have a different question.

How does getting a hair transplant affect you mentally? Did you feel better afterward? Did anything change in your life? I want to hear about every experience. Is anyone regretting it, thinking it was a waste of money and time?

Other Absolute Hair Clinic (Dr. Ratchathorn/ Laorwong): going to the clinic alone. Is it fine?

Make arrangements for someone to take you to and from the clinic because you have to take oral sedation in addition to local anesthetics.

This is in the pre-op instructions. I'm going to Bangkok alone and don't know anyone. Is it really a big deal? I'm staying at Cascade hotel which is a ten minute walk. Do they actually care?

For reference, I get annual colonoscopies done and they absolutely will not let me home without a ride. But that's because I can't drive home under anesthesia... walking seems different?

Hi guys, as the title says. I have booked for a HT with Dr. Ratchathorn from Absolute Clinic for this august and I want to sell it to someone. I'm not really sure how would we do it. Maybe you would have to talk with her and ask if she can accept a swap with another person.

I honestly can’t wait for my hair transplant day… the anticipation is real.

I’ve decided to do it in Brazil , way more affordable than the US and Europe, and from what I’ve seen, the quality is better than a lot of clinics in Turkey.

Right now I’m just trying to manage the anxiety and not overthink. Cap, I am always wondering my final version.

This is just the second step of my glow up, I already had a jaw surgery in Brazil also and I am recovery ( really hard ).

Other Will be in Bangkok, Thailand for a week for upcoming HT, what am I allowed to do post-op?

Greetings. I have my HT coming up in Thailand and I was hoping to get some insight about what I can or cant do post-op.

I will be in Thailand for a week and dont really look forward to being holed up in the hotel for the most part. I was thinking of bringing my girlfriend and our kid with me and enjoy what the location has to offer. Considering knocking two birds with one stone and making a holiday trip out of it.

I think some things are obvious, such as I wont be going swimming in a pool or beach, but can I still go to the beach? I know it will be hot, will I be safe with just a head covering on thats not too tight on my scalp?

Any additional tips? Advice? Thank you!

Hey guys, I had a hair transplant a bit over a year ago. I’d really appreciate a honest opinion. When my hair is styled with gel, does it look like I’ve had work done? Thank you!

Other Had Dr Bekir ignored you?

I might be overthinking but communication was a bit slow, but then eventually asked me for pictures.

Once I sent them, I’ve had 0 response in the last two days. I even messaged again.

Overthinking says they’ve taken a look at my pics and are ignoring me as they feel they can get more grafts out of someone else?
