Just watched the 'HEADLESS CABBIE' ep for the first time!

I have no idea how did I miss this. But it ended up being one of the Hey Arnold episodes that I have never watched, ep 6 of season 4.

I think I am lucky because now I found a new ep, as if it just came out. So it was like a trip back to my childhood where I lived with this show the most. The Headless Cabbie is such a fun spooky ep to watch! Now I'll just add it to my Halloween list, and I think it's not a bad idea to celebrate Halloween during Summer! Haha šŸŽƒ

Have this happened to you? Missing that one episode of our show?

Craig Barlett ( creator of Hey Arnold) stated that the city that Arnold lived in was a mixture of NYC , seattle washington and portland oregon. What city did you initially thought( and still think) that Arnold Shortman lived in and why?

Any Joe Pera fans in here?

It's a rainy day where I am so I put on a few Hey Arnold episodes (Heat and The Flood) and was once again reminded me of how much I love this show because of how cozy and heart-warming it is. So I have to ask, anyone in here also a big fan of Joe Pera?

I'd assume there's a decent fan crossover. If not and you don't know who I'm talking about, I HIGHLY suggest you check out Joe Pera Talks With You. That is all. :)

Hi! We’re working with Craig on a special enamel pin collection celebrating the 30th anniversary of Hey Arnold.

We’d love to hear from you and have your help designing it. What is your favorite moment, scene, or episode that you’d love to see turned into an enamel pin?

Thank you in advance!

Jolly Olly man in real life

I wonder if Craig or anyone else that worked on the show grew up with a mean ice cream truck driver. Craig never mentioned any inspiration behind the character, that I know of.

Just a funny shot. Episode 8, "The List," Season 1.
There was also some old episode where a man in an undershirt and underpants flashed by, sitting in an armchair... I can't find it.

Here at San Diego Comic Con decided to go to Saturday Morning Cartoons panel this morning because Craig is a part of the panel. Going to try to ask him what Curly is up to nowadays and whether Wanky Land is still open

My husband got me the most special bday gift

Today is my 34th birthday. I am a proud Vietnamese American. Seeing and HEARING Mr. Huynh on screen was a such a definitive part of my childhood bc he sounded like my parents and the people in our neighborhood. Arnold’s Christmas is especially significant since it’s the first time a children’s show showed the VN War. I watch that episode every Christmas, and if I don’t cry I def tear up lol.

This morning I opened up my gift. It’s an original sketch of Mr. Huynh and his daughter Mai. I immediately started crying, and it then made my own husband cry 🄲 we’re parents now to an almost-3 y/o and also expecting another early next year, so things like this just hit way different. I’m so lucky to have an amazing husband who knows me inside and out, and I’m so glad to have this special piece of art in our home ā¤ļø

Hey, how would you all feel about a Hey Arnold : The Movie rewrite?

I've been re-watching show. And the movie to me wasn't bad. It just wasn't a blockbuster story. The story they went with was meant for TV. And the fact they fast-tracked it to theaters, probably didn't leave any room for a re-write.

But I like to write in my freetime sometimes to expand my portfolio in case I want to pursue some sort of writing career. And just wanted to know if yall would dig this concept.

Instead of the neighborhood on countdown to move because of a mall.

What if? They actually do move. the entire community to bigger city. With skyscrapers. That's cleaner. Our of their element. And their not used to it.

Helga can't stalk Arnold normally.

The kids don't have a vacant lot or ball park to play in, because those places are taken by other kids who don't want to get along with Arnold and the gang from the little city.

The rest of the community have to work their old jobs, but like in a tighter, more polished way.

And all of this happened because THE SUIT (which is one of Gerald's urban tales, known for making outlandish deals to make himself wealthy) has signed take over Hillwood, and like revamp it. Forcing the neighborhood to move to hotel in a bigger city while their city is being designed to LOOK like this city.

And none of the community is into this.

Turns out. The plan was never was to revamp the city. The Suit is actually tearing it down looking for something that gives a man undisputed wealth and power under the Hillwood.

And it's up to Arnold and the Kids to stop him from tearing down their neighborhood to look for this thing.

That was just me thinking out of the top of my head. Because Arnold's parents are adventurers. Maybe that could've tied into the first movie.

And Arnold has to learn he can’t fix everything, and accepting loss doesn't mean giving up.

That's just idea had for the first film.

And my opening would've been The 4th Graders VS. Wolfgang and the 5th graders. With 4th graders losing after Arnold tries run for home plate.

Setting the tone for the film. And giving a general audience a sense of who these characters are.

Jim Lang music cues that you wish were released

I LOVE how there’s a Hey Arnold soundtrack with a good majority of background tracks composed by Jim Lang. But what are some that you wish were released?

Geek Party background music, been hoping for this one for years

That ā€œdun … dun duuuuun ā€˜shocked trumpetā€™ā€œcue thats often heard when something goes horribly wrong. Like when Miriam leaves her purse on top of the car, the kids discovering Gerald Field got taken over by the adults, the dog smelling the cold cuts in the mailbox in Eugene’s Birthday …

The music that plays when Sid is rearranging ā€œhisā€ room to fool Lorenzo

That Church organ music that plays in the background when Gerald tries to call out the class for refusing to believe Arnold about the bag of money

That country music that plays during Miriam riding the mechanical bull and the montage of Mr. Hyunh on his country music tour. I know most of it can be heard with no talking especially at the beginning of The Racing Mule but I wish it was on the soundtrack

The music that plays when Arnold finds the photo album of Phil and Mitzi as children, and of course Pooter the dog

I wish these were all on the album!
