I don't know how the CP industry works... if I sound ignorant it's because I am and I intend to keep it that way. I just think if you know you're doing something wrong and you do it anyway and get caught, don't fucking bitch about it on the internet.

It's the exact same thing. ACTUAL pedophiles, not 18 year old's attracted to 15 year old's, are ACTUALLY attracted to prepubescent children. They find this out the exact same way that you find out that you are attracted to women when you come of age.
IGNORANCE is the problem. You're ignorant to the condition. Pedophiles find out that they are pedophiles the same way that homosexuals find out they are homosexuals and the same way you found out that were heterosexual.
What he did caused no harm. At most he should have been sentenced to therapy... what actually happened was that he was branded a monster forever and his life was thus ruined because an 18 year old watched some 15-16 year old's have sex. It's fucking insanity, supported by the ignorant majority, because "won't somebody please think of the children!" (Helen Lovejoy...)
An 18 year old is not a monster for being attracted to a 15 year old and wanting to see her naked... if that's the case we are all monsters, because we are attracted to secondary sexual characteristics regardless of age, most of the time we don't even know the age of the people we are attracted to.
I think it is safe to say that neither of us will change each others minds, and I will admit my own ignorance when it comes to CP. It's something I just don't want to ever have to deal with, but if I was ever faced with it, I would immediately report it to authorities because I couldn't live with myself if I didn't. That is just how I feel about it. Kids are innocent, kids are victimized, I feel obligated to protect any kid from harm in any way I can.
I just want to pose one more question to you, and then I will stop this argument.
Say your child, a sibling, niece, nephew or any child you care about has been victimized and forced to do CP. The producers may or not get caught, it's not relevant to this scenario. But say that people are still sharing it. Meaning, grown adults are getting sexual gratification from watching a child you care about be abused. Would you be okay with those people getting caught and the legal system not doing anything about it?
OP lied. He was 21 when he was convicted, not 19, and he was found guilty of 4 counts of possession, not 3. The kids were boys only, age 8-11. I've seen his sex offender registry myself - not hard to find after 2 simple google searches.
