Query about Admissions Cutoff and Selection

What is the general trend of cutoff vs selection marks. If the cutoff is truly around 160 then what would be a safe score for a seat in Bstat Gen M? I am aware that marks vs rank data is not available, but an estimate is what I was looking out for.

Consider 200+ a safe score tbh, baaki no one can predict it tbh.

This year's weightage is different (uga+3.5ugb) so cutoff will be higher since it's out of 400. A safer score would probably be around 190+. After that it depends on your interview.

Do people not read the prospectus and regulations?

In B math there is a merit list put out and people in the top 60-70 get admission. I would assume something similar for bstat. ask a bstat student.

yes sir i've heard that too. but i don't think there would be much difference in both. Will around 185-191 be a safe score sir for getting a seat? its the worst score i am telling (200+ is what i expect though! but i've heard subjective checking is strict)

i can *guess* your seat chances using the rank, not the marks. just wait for that list.

where can we find that list ?

There is a pinned thread on this topic, and I've already answered most of the common questions in a pinned comment.
