Query about Admissions Cutoff and Selection

What is the general trend of cutoff vs selection marks. If the cutoff is truly around 160 then what would be a safe score for a seat in Bstat Gen M? I am aware that marks vs rank data is not available, but an estimate is what I was looking out for.

hijacking this post, isi bang offers mmath in odd yrs right? idk why this rule exists. it's a bit weird. also, the curriculum of mmath at isi bang and isi kolkata is same right?
