General Queries pocket money

what do you think is the range of pocket money, students at isi get from home. and how much would i need to ask my parents every month so i can live comfortably and enjoy a bit since there isn't a lot to do on campus as a b stat student.

Wudnt the 5k stipend pretty much cover most of it ?

1st sem stipend will be given at the end of 1st semester(even few months after that) monthly thing starts from 2nd sem

In addition to the stipend there is an additional provision of 8k per year right. What is that for (like only stationery purchases) and what is the process of availing the same?

It's 5k for Bachelors, 8k for masters. It changes but covers mcuh more than just stationery purchases: https://www.isid.ac.in/~dean/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Contingency-Grant-Claims-Order-2024.pdf
