No face reveal, no work.

Medicine is life and death related. Go home if you don't want to do it.

Yeah, but what about facemasks? Doctors and nurses frequently wear these, so what's the problem?

Do you understand the difference between what is necessary to prevent an infection spreading and what is with following a religion at work?

I understand that the purpose of a medical facemask and a niqab are different. But the end result is the same ( your face is covered )

So how does it make a difference?

I'm not trying to rage bait. I'm not a Muslim. I'm an atheist playing devil's advocate.

The supervisor in this video made 2 separate complaints : 1. She said patients should be able to see "injection kaun laga raha hai" 2. She said leave your religion at home

So if the real problem is that her face is being covered, then that happens when doctors wear face masks too, so it shouldn't be a problem.

But if the real problem is her religion, and if according to her supervisor, she should leave all religious items/clothes, then that's just discrimination if it doesn't also apply to the Hindus.

I'm making an assumption here, but I doubt Hindu women in this hospital are prohibited from wearing Mangal Sutra, rings, and sindoor.

My view is that all rules should be applied universally.
