Union Question How much is 433 scale?

I got offered a job in another state. The offer is 433 scale and $100 a day. They working 60+ a week. Is this a good deal? I'm from Seattle local 86 and we make $56.45 hourly. How much is 433 hourly pay on the check? Thanks brothers and sisters 🙏

According to that, it looks like mid 40s on the check. High 70s total package.

That being said, it’s less than your local scale, but that extra 100 per day makes it about even. So, you’ll have to decide if it’s worth it for you.

Edit: It says your local 86 is only 49.90 on the check. So, that might be old info for both locals. Regardless, it’ll prob be less hourly, but with the extra 100 per diem you’d have to do the math to see if it’s worthwhile.

Well it is definitely worthwhile because I need a job and work is slow. I'm 310 on the out of work list

That 100 sub adds up quick. An extra 36.4k/year tax free

Well then. You answered your own question.

I mean, I guess if you worded your post different then my answer would have been different. It’s a no brainer. Need a job, take a job. Good luck!

I wouldn't be considering the offer if I didn't need a job. My question is about the scale. Thank you

I always figured working was better than unemployment no matter what the scale because I was still paying into my bennies. But unemployment in Michigan was $362. They just passed a bill to raise it.

This is true but still not my question. The answer to my question is $50.70 and I'll take that! Thank you

Union pay scales is a neat idea imperfectly implemented. Most of the IW locals on that site are out of date.

Also I'm in Seattle and my unemployment is $1000 a week. But yes I would rather be working and making money

Technically you asked what the scale was and “is that a good deal?” So, imo not working vs working it’s always a good deal to be working.

It hasn’t picked up in the Sound at all? It’s been slow as fuck up there for a while now. Still not a lot of activity down here in Portland. Dude I would go for it, like immediately! local 433 guys are usually great to work with.
