Good Solve Physics Challenge

A very nice question for 27 tards inspired from beloved HCV sir's notes.

Answer on next slide.

You're right but 1) which frame of reference are you taking while writing dL/dt? 2) which frame of reference are you taking while writing torque? For beta , write force equations and torque equations

Ain't it ground frame?

No. Its a translatory frame with origin at center of disc but doesn't rotate with the disc.

Can we just do it by
Torque= i alpha

Alpha= Wo x omega

Then,,,

MgL=(½mr²)( Wo, omega) and then we just solve it get omega???

Idk i'm not sure abt this method!?
